Mim's Nov Loot
Hai Mina!
We have a nice and bright sunny day here in Sydney giving me loads of light to help my iPhone with shots of my loot for the month.
Although few in number I had some nice quality items come in this month :)

The second sexy PVC in the set from Skytube. What's not to like about a cute and sexy panty wearing machine gun toting chick?

Makoto is a really cute character design and this PVC rendition, although not overly dynamic, is actually pretty nice.

Paint quality is not quite up there with Alter or GSC, but I'd still totally recommend her for anyone tired of the old cat and rabbit theme as she's a GOD DAMN SQUIRREL DUDE!

Pretty quiet month on the Nendo front (for once), but this ones actually a really cute rendition of BRS. I rather like the whole dedicated character theme as opposed to the regular Cheerfull Japan line from GSC where the core nendo has been re-used and a few extra accessories simply added.

Zomg I gots a red thingy!

I got this mind blowingly brilliant case from HLJ as Amiami sold out. Why is it mind blowing you ask? Well apart from being red and themed on Evangelion, its a really thin hard shell with a deiciously thin rubber coating to give it a non slip and nice feeling surface to grip. As a result of the thin clear rubber coating it gives the case a nice deep metallic finish and if that's not mind blowing enough its designed to allow for the magnetic apple cover too!

I also managed to track down the red screen protector, this time from Amiami. I actually bought all the accessories and protectors first and then got the iPad after.

She's a 64gb Wi-Fi iPad2. Seeing as I have a 4G iPhone from work with a 3GB Telstra data plan I just tether it for internet access if away from home or work where I have wireless connections anyway. Current favourate app of all time would be GoodPlayer, which is the equiv of VLC player for apple devices.
I watch a lot of video content and along with the dual core CPU, Goodplayer actually handles 720p MKV files pretty smoothly with only the occasional video breakup when action gets busy in the video. I also love a pile of features like video-out to play on TV's and single swipe gestures to turn off subtitles to help with my Nihon-go studies.

Got to hand it to Apple for their magnetic cases. The leather ones punch a soccer ball sized hole in your wallet, but I find it hard to imagine not having one.

One of my fav apps to leave running to drain my batteries on my desk at work is iQuarium.

The pad now nicely matches my phone though I think I should of gotten a black iPad for a more perfect match.. sigh. Something to remember when I buy the iPad3 and sell this one.

I've seen a few nice pic's of Rei and Auska real action Hero's so thought I'd check on Mandarake for some nicely discounted used examples and luckily found one of each, in near mint condition, for nearly half the release price so couldn't say no.

The pleather plug suits are pretty crazy in terms of quality and I like how none of the joints are visible due to it. No the plug suit cannot be removed from either fig as its a perminent fixture. I hear the posability of this latest line of figs is pretty insane so will enjoy displaying them once my rooms sorted out from renovations, which are progressing nicely.

That's a nice haul. That iPad skin is awesome.
Yar its brilliant. I'm a huge fan of keeping a device close to its origional dimentions so big fat leather cases look ugly and rather pointless to me. If people need a fat case to protect their device then they should really be looking at why and adjusting.
I play a load of games on it that require movment like tilting with racing games and the abillity to unclip the magnetic cover and simply use it as is really makes that case great due to its tiny 2mm thickness. Theres also a black version along with matching screen protector from the same company.
