Yesterday I went to the Railway Museum in Saitama!
Really impressive museum!

Old Shinkansen!
Bit newer Shinkansen :3
JR used to be called JNR - changed name in 1987! :)
Outside were some miniature trains used for kid rides :3

Nice! Always great to see such older trans preserved to get a feel of how it was during that era.

Haven't tried the new E-5 Shinkansen yet..
If it goes to Yokohama, that's a cheap way to try it out.

According to its website,it's a big museum. How was it?
It's pretty big!! ^O^
Really nice museum! On the first floor you see all the trains (real ones), you can enter most of them ^O^ Second floor has a big miniature city with a short show which shows you the trains in Tokyo and the 3rd floor has some kind of try-it-yourself space :3 You can learn how trains work and stuff ^^ They also have train simulators and lot's of fun kiddy ries outside! :3
