Macross Frontier Movie Trailer!
Oh, my god. Not only does this movie seem to NOT be a simple compilation movie, the plot actually seems exciting!
"Macross Frontier The Movie: The False Songstress" will premere in Japan on the 21st of November.
Hm... Sheryl gets saved this time round instead of Ranka... A fake Sheryl also appears. What's going on here?
Personally, my favorite songstress would be Ranka as honestly speaking, mature lady types just don't grow on me. I prefer the cute, fun-loving, easy going, easy to talk to kind of girl. I also really like her character design more. And who could deny the epicness of Kira~?
For my favorite pilot, Brera's my man. I find him so awesome! Not only is he half-robot, mysterious and suave, but he also pilots the sleek, stylish and powerful VF-27, which also happens to be my fave Valk of the series.

I just bought the Robotech/Macross Trilogy box set and now this comes out..the end of this year will be exciting and expensive lol

I like them both, but I have to admit I like the cute type more too. Also, Sheryl seems to be a bit too Mary-Sue-like in both her importance and character design.
I just hope Alto finally tells Sheryl he loves her and they don't rick roll us to the next century like with the series lol.

I started out like Ranka more in the series. Usually I go for the cute young ones as well but I actually ended up liking Sheryl just a bit more. She's mature, likes to have fun/tease, devoted, and also has a cute side when she's embarrassed. Wouldn't mind having a gal like that in real life...
For favorite male character, Ozma. He cares about Ranka alot and is not afraid to good into battle to protect the women in his life.

The trailer left me a bit confused actually. I assume its story is going to be set after the main Frontier series...?
