Yaoi-Con/Halloween 2011 Dollfie Outing
A week before Halloween, there is a local convention held here called Yaoi-Con. Of course the theme of the convention should be obvious, but the reason I attended was more due to me wanting to hang out with friends and just have a good time. The same weekend there was a Doll meet held in the local Japantown so I headed out to spend some time with fellow Dollfie/BJD owners. The theme was Halloween, but I did not have the time to scrounge up any costumes for my girls this year. Enough of me talking, enjoy the pictures!
On a side not, I just want to ask fellow BJD owners who go to meets often. I met a lot of ppl during the meet and this is a first time meeting so we are not exactly friends. So my question is would you post pictures of their BJDs or not? I'm swinging towards the "not" side because I'm worried people might get touchy about having pics of theirs dolls being shown without their permission. Am I being overly cautious?

Best would ask those people permission to post photos of their DD while meeting them there or afterwards if you have their contact info.
Ahaha, that could be a possibility as Yaoi-con announced that they're moving the event to LA since their new sponsor is located there. -sigh- It's another local convention lost since Wonder Con is going to be in LA as well. Maybe a Yuri-con could be in the works, more possible fans? XD
Yeah that would probably be the best course of action for posting their pics, thanks for the input.
I've gone to meets all the time and they don't mind me posting photos of their BJDs online. It's not like giving them bad press, but more exposure for their dolls instead.
Ah this is true, I've never really thought of it that way. Though I think I would probably still be more comfortable touching base with them since I'm not well acquainted with them. Thanks for the input!

It is a lot of people and I'm not sure if I can even contact some of them. ^^; Well just to play safe I won't be posting them anywhere except DoA in the gallery specifically for this event.
