AFA’11 Figurine Photography Workshop
As I had earlier shared, at this coming weekend's Anime Festival Asia, I will be conducting a simple sharing session on figurine photography.
On Saturday, I will share some tips on how to take good shots using a compact camera, while on Sunday, I will be touching on shooting with a DSLR.
I understand that many folks are interested in figurine photography but their level of understanding on cameras and photography knowledge might vary. Hence, we decided to have two separate 30mins sessions this year.
Here's the outline & schedule of the talk, which will be held at the Canon Cosplay Zone located in the Festival Halls:
Shooting with Compact Cameras (Saturday 11.30am -12 pm)
1. Why Compacts Cameras might be handy when shooting figurines
2. Getting good lighting for shooting figurines
3. How to compose your photos so they look more interesting
4. Injecting some creativity into your photos

Shooting using DSLR (Sunday 2.15pm - 2.24pm)
1. Why I prefer shooting with a DSLR

I'm looking forward to seeing all my fellow comrades and meeting new friends at AFA'11. Hopefully those who are interested in figurine photography can attend my workshop as well ^^

To bad I can't attend. The workshop on shooting with a compact camera sounds interesting since a DSLR camera is way out of my reach.
