        I am not sure. Kanata has green eyes, and this character has greyish looking eyes. But they do kinda look alike.

    The hair colour is a bit different, but isn't this supposed to be one of the characters from the show? Rika Shiguma? Kodaka is sorta having a fantasy which involves her while they were texting.

      Rika is a brunette, even though yes this was part of their fantasy, you can clearly see a strict homage to Kanata whether it was intentional or not.

      Hey, danny is pretty influential, wouldnt surprise me if mirai and haruka had a cameo later on like other earlier shows.
