The Anime Room Begins :D
I finally had a full weekend to do nothing so I decided to go out and stock up on shelving to begin my collection room. Its only like 25% done because the shelves are a pain in the butt to build but its coming along nicely...for the side of the room I took pictures of :P The other side is full of the stuff I have to pack and move to storage.
P.S. I do apologize for the picture quality, my SLR batteries are charging so I will take better quality pictures later when the room is done.

The thing in the back is a portable Go board, its pretty crap quality since it was a beginner set, but the design on the case is awesome :D
I noticed after I finished putting things on the shelf that my floor is uneven...probably from the heavy stuff that was on the floor before hand. I think a brace screwed to the back might help that when I get the other shelves done.
Thats a tidy little collection. Not tempted to pull more of them out of their boxes or are you thinking of going for a glass case at some stage for that?

I am waiting until I'm done and get a chance to make some display cases. The dust isn't much of a problem but sun is so I have to make some display cases with UV protection lol But they will eventually come out of the boxes :D

I do like how you've arranged figures by series :3 Personally I'm not a box person myself but they look really good the way you've done it.
From an ex-kitchen fitter viewpoint, you want to put 2 (One front one at back) countersunk screws in the top so that you pull them in line with each other, they want to be long enough to go through both pieces but not so long they stick out the other side. It'd be a good idea to do the same around half way down and at the bottom to stop warping. After that you should try to see if you can make it level by putting something under the bottom corners before drilling into your wall x3
Thats exactly what I was thinking, along with stuffing some stuff under the 2 bottom ends to try and make it even-ish

Wow did you play Go? I have a Go board printed from my computer and the stones are making from the clay by myself!
I just haven't had time in the past bit but I used to. I tried making my own using a felt tip and a piece of wood but I screwed up one line and it ruined the board, hence why I went and bought a temp board lol But the stones are just scrap from a glass blowing place so they are close-ish to the right shape haha
