Little Edo..back in time..
Today I went to Kawagoe aka "Little Edo" ^^
It's a place near Tokyo where the main street is really old fashioned.. it takes you back in time while seeing all the beautiful shops, restaurants, food "stalls", temples and one of my favorite spots "Kashiya Yokocho" or "sweets store alley" ^O^
There are many stores, housed in old buildings, selling traditional Japanese sweets.
Make sure to see the Bell Tower! It's more than 300 years old! ^o^
Actually it's way older but it was rebuilt several times because of fires.
It still works and rings 4 times a day. Don't miss it if you visit!
It's really easy to visit Kawagoe, Take the Yamanote-sen to Takadanobaba and switch to the Seibu Shinjuku-sen :) (1 hour)
