oh goodness!! i love your gundams!! their very nice! >_< i dont know how to airbrush and stuffs...>_<
thanks! i didnt know how to airbrush either but then my brother bought me one for christmas many years ago so i forced myself to learn. really its just about experimenting on a gundam that u dont really care too much about and thats what I did with the first gundam i painted.
i also looked at online tutorials like danny choos and this one http://fichtenfoo.net/blog/model-tutorials-and-in-progs/ he has really good tutorials and his work is really nice
beautiful collection,.....
thanks!
awww,i wish i got extra money to spend for painting my kits :(
yes, i admit it is quite expensive to paint, but u can get the same results with spray cans which are a lot cheaper
dont the spray paints affect the gunpla materials?
I havent tried it myself but i would assume they dont because a lot of ppl use spray cans to paint their models.
Check out danny choos tutorial, he used spray cans, http://www.dannychoo.com/post/en/213/Gundam+Modeling+Tutorial.html
Awesome, I had quite a few gundams myself too.
Wanted to start learning on airbrushing, any recommendations on that?
thanks!
definitely check out some tutorials online like this one, http://fichtenfoo.net/blog/model-tutorials-and-in-progs/ and also danny choo's
unlike danny, I cut and sand all pieces and assemble first and then I take it apart again but i leave pieces that are a single color together so that there is less pieces to paint, for example the inner frame is all one color and can be kept in one piece.
as far as what airbrush and compressor to get, i am no expert and i dont really know anything about them haha but my brother bought this one for me, http://www.iwata-medea.com/index.php/products/hp_cs and this air compressor, http://www.iwata-medea.com/index.php/products/sprint_jet
if u have time and the money, its definitely worth trying, its all about trial and error
good luck!
The most beautiful Perfect Grade Gundam, the GP-01. I also own this badass kit.
yes, ive been wanting one for like 5 years but could never find one, I found one in tokyo but its too big to bring all the way back to canada. luckily my brother found one online and bought one for me last year
