My Gundam

Posted by Takeru

I have 2 Gundam, I am still new to building them. I believe they are both 1/100 scale with no grade. They are from the Gundam seed series, which is the first Gundam I watched.

I recently watch hobby link tv on youtube and learn some very helpful tips. So I went away and tided up my models with a hobby knife a bit before taking the picture. Also I wanted to try panel lining, didn't have the correct Gundam pen, in fact I didn't have any markers or anything like that. I didn't know you need tools to build these until now (^^;).

So for panel lining I used a permanent marker, I had know idea what I was doing so the Strike Gundam is in a bit of mess (^q^).

I wish to learn more about Gundam building and also painting!

Thank you! Please give me any tips!

    HobbyLink.TV! I watch it too. Syd and Ryan is pretty fun to watch :)
    Seeing Ryan head start into Snap fit kits or real modelling just makes me feel like completing my back log of kits :]

    I used to paint my Gundams, still do. Good practice. I don't usually do a full paint job on my Gundam Kits, only where parts really needed paint. I now just Flat coat my kits after decalling. However, I would like to own a air spray gun and portable like air compressor so that I can feel more confident in painting my Gundam/Macross/other kits. My old man has a HUGE air compressor for cars and what not but I'm pretty scared that it might blow a air spray gun to bits. ^^;
