Artist of the Week - October 14, 2009

Forgive my lateness, I've been fighting with my psp and forgot >A>
So this week's artist is Itagayui, an amazingly talented artist. He tends to work in pencil, but there are plenty of things in his gallery that are either inked or done in photoshop. Literally jaw-dropping pencil-work however...
Super incredibly badass Mokou. Completely amazing that this could be done in such a soft led, but be completely clean >A<

ooo very detail orientated and some pretty original ideas you don't see everyday... I love how they drew the toes and feet, I always think those are the hardest to learn to get down. Tis is a nice idea you have here, to feature an artist, I was planning on doing something like that on my blog too, but only of artists that have influenced me over the years.
That artist is the master of lead.
I've liked pencil drawings best, and have seen many awesome works this way.
When you look at a pencil drawing and you can visualize it with color, but it's still as awesome with out are the best. IMO.
This set is cool, the first one reminds me of Syun Matsuena's work in the manga "Worlds Mightiest Disciple".
