Mim's Dec Loot
Getting closer to xmass time and seeing as I do not have any more shipments coming this month I thought I'd share pics of my loot for December along with some nice random shots.
All pics once again are taken with the 5mp iPhone 4G.
A nice little haul for the month and to top off a great year.
Upgrading to a 4Gs next month so ordered another screen protector, but although its the same brand and art as the one on my current 4G, this time it has a notch at the top to allow for the sensor that monitors brighness and whether to turn the screen off when the phone is placed next to your ear. Been fun living without that feature up till now -.-"
I also get to re-use my matching Auska hard case due to the same form factor so win!

Been looking for a Nana for a while, being a big Mecha Mesume Fan and I'm happy to say one of our fellow figure FM posters helped me out on this very site with a small sale.
She has a lot of moving parts and a brilliantly designed support to help manage the bulky design and still allow for a really nice dynamic pose for the sculpt.
The detail is pretty mindlblowing, and she's also a full cast off (including panties), though I haven't checked and am happy to simply display as is ^.^
The second Freezing related Freeing release (ironically similar spelling) to join my Satelizer.
I seem to be collecting all the Freeing 1/4 Stocking equiped / Bunny girl releases.
Very smexy, though hard to see so from the box alone. As with the earlier release she comes with a set of stockings you slide on and is a partial cast off.
My little nendo hit for the month.
I missed out on her first mini release, but now managed to get my hands on her thanks to Tokyo Hunter once again.

Had a surprise hop into our garden recently.
A really nice $10aud pub steak I had for lunch a few day's back when on a trip out o Manly here in Sydney.
Freshly coocked Takoyaki with its signature dancing onion flakes. Hmmm :)_
It was a huge mixed Bento. Needless to say I only ate twice that day and certainly nothing after this meal >.>

The last (and probably most obvious) is that she will punch a pretty clean hole through your wallet, given the nature of how she was made available to beging with, which was a little rough on collectors / fans.

I kind of figured she would punch a hole in my wallet, just like how Snow Miku would also punch a hole in my wallet (if Tokyo Hunter is any indication). I suppose the next best thing would be to complete the Miku Append Trifecta at some point (figma, Nendoroid, and scale figure). Still have to keep finances balanced for college though.

My mouth waters every time I ponder it. I'm a medium rare person and aside from being a good 2 inches thick it was coocked to perfection. Hmm and them fries were oh so lightly crunchy.

You know that actually really did give me a good chuckle. I stopped and sat there for a moment to ponder what you meant and assuming you were refering to the infinity+1 versions if Miku Nendo's out there I'm inclined to agree!
Thinking through the various versions it would be a tough call between the last two racing ones ie this and the one prior (where she's a pit crew member), the second winter festival release and the append version due shortly.
I do like all the Miku versions but I wish the other vocaloids would get some love ....I like Append. Version also I may just buy that version also .....
I rather like gimmicks so append Miku's led light up base is pretty neet. It also helps that she's the most Mecha Mesume Nendo Miku to date. Not a bad thing in my books.

Phone camera's still strugle with low light shots, but you know once I get my hands on the 4Gs and that 8mp camera I don't think I'll care about taking a regular dedicated camera on holiday trips. Especially given how you can cloud sync your pics and local wireless sync to your iPad.
Its like any photography though ie stacking the cards in your favour by taking a few of the same shots, being aware of how light works, adjusting your camera settings, framing the subject of the photo etc..
do you open your Nendos ?
Nope I have every Nendo released so far inc variants (bar the 3 Primula ones) and 90% are MISB. The other 10% are used examples but still boxed with all their bits. Nearly done renovations on my room so might end up going through an orgy of carefull opening and load them all into a large glass cabinet early in the new year.
Naturally I'll share the love with some pic's if that happens :D
OMG i am very jelious of all your cute nendos and that tasty looking food :L I need to treat myself you some good japanese food after finals. Where do you shop for your figures? You found some nice nendos that i have been eyeing for a while, and i like to shop around for a good price.:)
I pre-order all my standard releases via http://www.amiami.jp/shop?set=english but if something sells out too quick I use http://www.otacute.com/ who also tend to source some of the more special releases that Amiami does not generaly get like the Touhou Nendo's.
The cheerfull Japan line I obviously order direct from http://www.goodsmile.info/top/en/ and for anything else like super specials (ie Race Miku's) I use http://www.tokyo-hunter.com/
If all else fails I use http://shoppingmalljapan.com/ and bid on Yahoo JP, which is how I bought all of my 2P version Queens Blade Nendo's and a few other super hard to get small batch releases / event specials like the Nendo / Figma Wonder festival posters.
Asside from this I used Ebay in the start, but more recently http://ekizo.mandarake.co.jp/shop/en/ who have's range of Nendo's have grown to a pretty crazy size over the years and should be your first stop for older ones. I simply search for nend (without the o), which somehow returns the best results.
Sorry for the war and peace reply, but thats the entire picture of my collecting method to keep things as cheap as possible.
Oh I should also mention that Amiami do batch shipping so you can save some on shipping using them.

Oh wow, great looking food. Where abouts in Sydney did you get that takoyaki/bento from?
