Kanu & Shadows

couple things: i probably should have had the other lamp on / shot in the day. i also probably should have gotten a new blue and green marker (they're kidna dying out). oh, and i probably should have worked on a nicer signature for Kanu.

while i like the lighting in this and the following shots, i sorta miss the yellow-ish or golden glow of my computer lamp. it makes the photos seem warmer and it works with Kanu's red, white, and blonde look. it helps set a more happier and fluffy atmosphere. however, this is certainly better for a more "cold" look. definitely dramatic. i even want to think that Kanu looks solemn or, heck, even depressed (most evident in the above and below shots).

in short, we took a detour from the usual playful and warm theme to a more dramatic and, i guess, lonely theme.

its an interesting contrast, i think.
a subject dressed warmly meant for celebration of the season, but in a dark and gloomy setting.

i'll definitely be doing more dark photo-shoots and playing with more shadows.
