Christmas Spirit
It's been a while since I last posted, and I haven't been around commenting much either. Sorry just a combination of busy, broken, and lazy. Anyway, here's a new story, I hope you enjoy it.
Most of the girls are hanging out in the living room this morning.
Asuka and Steffi have been getting a little closer since we last saw them. That's good.
Steffi: "It says here that if you move that switch you'll never be able to get the best armor in the game."
Asuka: "Who writes this crap? How are you supposed to know that some random switch prevents something much later in the game without a walk through? Idiots!"
Sakura: "I'm glad you've got full computer privileges back Yukino. What are you up to this morning?"
Yukino: "I'm reading strategies for investing in penny stocks. They're all I can afford and I figure it's the only chance I'll ever have to be able to afford nice PJs like the rest of you have. For some reason I'm strangely compelled to keep playing poker with Ilya and she keeps winning so I lose most of the money I make from our chores."
Sakura: "Sigh... I might be able to help that compulsion bit."
Ilya: "Saber, donuts aren't really a good breakfast you know? And isn't that too many even for you?"
Saber: "These are a snack not breakfast, I ate breakfast earlier at the table like a proper lady. And as to the amount they wouldn't sell donuts by the dozen if that wasn't the recommended serving size.
Now please let me eat my donuts in peace."
Ilya: "Sorry kitsune, I think your begging for donuts is a lost cause."
*Hannah arrives*
Hannah: "Good morning everyone!"
Others: "Good morning Hannah."
Hannah: "I'm so excited!! scripple set up the Christmas tree this morning and gave me these hats to hand out. This will be our first Christmas all together and I'm so looking forward to it! Good times ahead I'm sure."
*Rin arrives*
Rin: "Everyone! Something tragic is happening! The Christmas tree is up but there are NO gifts!!"
Hannah: "Oh, good morning Rin. Don't worry about that. scripple explained to me that there were too many of us this year for him to get gifts. But that's not what Christmas is really about so I'm sure we'll all still have a great time sharing the Christmas spirit with each other."
Rin: "What? I'm not getting a gift because that idiot Asuka arrived? That's garbage!!! You need to leave."
Asuka: "What are you blaming me for you idiot?!?! I'm sure you wouldn't have received a gift no matter how many girls were here because you've been nothing but bad. And if you want to be angry at anyone other than yourself blame that idiot scripple for being too cheap to get everyone gifts."
Rin: "Of course I'm blaming you. I'm sure scripple would have gotten us gifts if it wasn't for your bad attitude ruining everything. Even that sap baldylox knows you're no good. He sent us a Christmas card the other day and wished everyone a Merry Christmas but you! I should just put you out of *our* misery right now!!"
Saber: "Rin, no magic. And Asuka I'm pretty sure scripple is more lazy than cheap. He's purchased us plenty of stuff."
Hannah: "Wait! Please don't fight! It's Christmas time."
Hannah: "Asuka, please calm down and take a Santa hat. I'm sure it will help you feel the Christmas spirit."
Asuka: "I don't want any part of your stupid hat or Christmas spirit. I'm out of here."
*Asuka starts to leave*
Steffi: "Asuka, wait. Please come back."
Hannah: "You'll wear a hat for me right Rin? We can still have a good time this Christmas."
Rin: "Sorry Hannah, but I just can't feel the Christmas spirit with that cold witch sucking all life out of the house. I'm going to go make scripple come to his senses."
*Rin, Asuka, and Steffi leave*
Hannah: *Sniff* "Why does it have to be like this around here. Doesn't anyone have any Christmas spirit?"
Sakura: "It's ok Hannah, they'll calm down and the rest of us will happily celebrate the Christmas spirit with you. Let me try on this hat."
Yukino: "Yes please cheer up Hannah. You're always the one keeping the rest of us in good spirits so now we'll cheer you up. I'll take this hat, and Saber you can wear this one. See even kitsune is getting into the spirit."
Ilya: "Yes please don't be sad Hannah. I'm also looking forward to enjoying the Christmas spirit with everyone this year, the Einsberns never celebrated any holidays with me after my parents went away. There aren't any more hats but I've got another winter outfit that's so cute you'll love it."
Hannah: "Thank you so much everyone. I'm feeling much better now. If the rest of them can't appreciate the spirit of Christmas we'll just have to have a good time without them. Merry Christmas everyone."
Others: "Merry Christmas!"
Too bad Asuka and Rin had to be grinches!!
But everyone certainly does look cute in their Christmas hats.
Yes it's too bad about the grinches, but maybe there's still time for them to come around.
I'm glad you liked their hats. Saber's wig is not hat friendly. ^^
Your attention to detail is awesome. :O I can't help but like Asuka and Rin in your stories. As much as I love Saber.. I dunno what it is. <.< Maybe the tsundereness of it all..

Very. XD When I saw the first pic. I was all, "Aww dude. He really did make them all love each other. D:" Then, "Who writes this crap?" LOL A+ material as always, scripple. Now you have me wanting to check on the home page everyday and look out for posts again. D:
Haha, I didn't even think about that possible reaction with the first photo of most of them together.
I did consider coming back from the break with a total love and joy story just to freak people out though. XD

I don't think I'd begrudge Kitsune a small bite of a donut.. It is sad for Asuka and Rin not to participate, but oil and vinegar rarely do mix.... Be interesting to see what happens before the week is up, eh?
I'm not sure Saber ever got over kitsune stealing her donut when kitsune first arrived. And she's not big into sharing food in general. ^^
Hopefully Rin and Asuka can declare a Christmas truce this week and everyone can have a good time, but I'm not all that confident.
Yay for Christmas Spirit! I'm sure the other girls will come around. ^^
Hopefully you're right. It would be nice to see them all happy together for the holiday at least.

Denied. XD Poor kitsune needs to learn whom it's worth begging from. The donut black hole whom kitsune once stole a donut from is probably a bad target. ^^ Unfortunately for kitsune the other girls just don't present nearly as many begging opportunities.
Your posing is always great but you seem to especially knock it out of the park with these two. Always perfect shows of their closeness.

She's a little scared of Rin in general, but angry Rin and Asuka is very frightening.

Nice to see you back posting stories sir! Another great one! Too bad about the Grinches but maybe they will come around. Steffi seems to care about Asuka so I think those two can mend stuff on their end. Rin, I dunno, she has a thick skull. XD

I'd hate to see Steffi have to make a choice between staying with just Asuka or joining the others for the festivities though.

And I agree kitsune is super expressive. The ears and tail just provide so much extra freedom to convey emotion. She seems quite popular. ^^
I never considered it before, but 12 doughnuts obviously is the recommended serving size. :) I do hope things turn round for your girls.
Haha, I'm glad someone enjoyed Saber's incite on the donut serving sizes, thanks. I hope things turn around too and we can all enjoy the holiday together. There's still a little time to sort things out.

Haha, I considered ending it at the Hannah despair photo, but decided it would be better to happier ending with some actual Christmas spirit. :)
Oh, man, I know you said Rin was going to use that card as ammo, but she really phrased it in a nasty way.We haven't seen the end of this argument yet.
Still, I do love that in this one you balanced out the drama with everyone else getting in the spirit. (Now Hanna just needs to write a letter: "Dear Princess Celestia: Today I learned not to let other people's poor spirit affect my own." =P )
Hmm, was Rin's phrasing nastier to Baldylox or Asuka? And yes, I'm sure the argument isn't over, they're both stubborn and sharp tongued. ^^
I'm glad you enjoyed the happier ending. It was nice of the other girls to cheer Hannah up, it's so unusual to see her get down like that. I think she was just REALLY looking forward to a happy Christmas time so the fight was very disappointing to her and the rejection by her friend Rin was the final straw.

Ah! I can't help but love your stories! All of your girls are very lovable but I believe my favorite is Kitsune. <3 Perhaps because of how expressive she is.
Both Rin and Asuka seem to care for you very much(not to say that the other girls don't X3), I hope you find a way to let them both know that you love them both deeply and equally. :D

Rin's pretty open in her affection towards me. I'm not sure on Asuka, we don't know each other very well, but I'd like to think she care for me. I'll have to find some way to smooth things over between them for the holidays at least. I just have to do it in such a way as to not trigger more jealousy and fighting.

Poor Hannah...that fight just sucked the Christmas spirit right out of her.
The fight and the rejection from her best friend Rin. Hannah was very excited about her first Christmas with the other girls so having her best friend reject that excitement had to be a very painful moment. I'm glad the other girls were there to cheer her up.

Saber still considers kitsune a donut thieving pest. She not generally eager to share food, but especially not with kitsune. ^^
