Kanu and Photography (omg, lot'a pics)

Kanu: "How's this?"
[I'm digging the lighting, but i only wish the shadows were sharper.]
Kanu: "Pa. Is photography fun?"
[Oh, certainly. I'm not much of a photographer though. I'm using a normal digital camera.]
Kanu: "I see."

Kanu: "This is..."
[We're being pretentious here. You, the shadow, are staring into the light. You lack this light. You need it.]
Kanu: "Pa."
[Yes?]
Kanu: "I wanna try something."
[What would that be?]
Kanu: "What if we turned out the lights?"
[Pardon?]

[Err, you don't mind the flash?]
Kanu: "It's fine. Ah!"
[What?]
Kanu: "That may have been a bit close. Now I see purple. Everything is purple."
[I didn't know you were right there! I'm gonna back up now and, you know, not blind you. (Actually, the photo is quite nice. she has an interesting glow.]

[That's more like it. I almost tripped over my carpet, but hey. We got the photo.]
Kanu: "How does it look?"
[It actually looks pretty normal. We ARE using the flash after all.]

[What're you doing now?]
Kanu: "Turning on the computer."
[You found it rather quickly.]
Kanu: "Perhaps, it was too dark. Let's just use the light from the monitor."
[Alright. You won't have to log in, so let--]
Kanu: "Too late."

[I'll wonder how you got my password later. What're you looking up?]
Kanu: "The site (this one)."
[Ah. Were you expecting something?]
Kanu: "Well..not really. But anyway, photography is fun?"
[So quick to change the subject...]
Kanu: "I haven't used a camera, but it sounds fun. I suppose in that case, I like modeling."
[You certainly are quite the model.]

[Stilling seeing purple?]
Kanu: "It's all I see right now."
[Wonderful.]
Kanu: "I might have to ask you to move me around, Pa."
[Makes sense. I dont want you to be bumping into anything and hurting yourself. Before that, lemme take a shot.]
Kanu: "A panty shot?"
[Yea--whoa, what? Cover up, honey. You may be a Dollfie, but dammit, you're my Dollfie 'daughter'.]
Kanu: "Thank you."
[Hm?]
Kanu: "For looking out for me."

[Say, what about those contractual obligations of being a Dollfie?]
Kanu: "Well, actually, the outfit doesn't really call for it."
[Really?]
Kanu: "Yes. According to those rules, I will require lingerie or something more revealing, which I understand is expensive in my size. This outfit, for me, is perhaps better suited for cleavage shots."
[Okay, you can stop there. You need to tell me more about these rules.]
Kanu: "In due time, Pa. Besides that, I am using the default panty. Nothing too extravagant. You've seen it."
[Yes. I have. (She talks about this so casually.)]

The next day...

Kanu: "Christmas time is almost here, Pa."
[Indeed it is...and I've got another long work week before we can enjoy that day together.]
Kanu: "Ooh."
[(I want a new job already. It's only been 3weeks...)]
Kanu: "Ah, do you have the camera?"
[Oh, did you want to do another shoot in front of the tree?]
Kanu: "Yes. I have a more appropriate attire now."

[Agh, even with some daylight out and the lights on inside, it's still pretty dark.]
Kanu: "It looks okay, Pa. I just need to be close to the tree."
[I love your optimism, but I can't help but think it's still too dark.]

[Relax a bit. There we go. Hmm...]
Kanu: "Something the matter, Pa?"
[See that lamp there?]
Kanu: "Yes?"
[Hop on.]

[Gimme a moment. Gonna grab my desk lamp. Make yourself comfortable.]
Kanu: "Hmhm."
[Okay. Ah, that's better. (Sorta.)]
Kanu: "Ready?"
[That's a lovely pose. Alright, let's head on back to the tree.]

[Well, aren't we adorable, today?]
Kanu: "Ahahah."
[I was right in getting you that outfit and wig. Keep this up and you might get another one soon.]
Kanu: "You mean that, Pa?"
[Yep. Just be good, okay?]

[Look away a bit. Hold that pose. Nicely done.]

[Once more. Look down here. Darling.]
Kanu: "You're like a real photographer now, Pa."
[Nah. You're just a good model. (I'm such a doting father.)]

Kanu: "Oh, I like this one."
[You certainly match it's color.]
Kanu: "Can I have it?"
[Now, now. The tree needs it more than you do.]

[Hm. The desk lamp sure makes the photo lighter. Too bad it's not good to have it on you for too long.]
Kanu: "That is true. It could damage my skin."
[Exactly. And we don't want that.]

[Aaand...portrait shot. With optimal lighting, we could frame this.]
Kanu: "I like this one, Pa."

[Side profile, go.]
Kanu: "Good?"
[Turn to your left...stop. Got it.]
Kanu: "Ah, this one is even nicer."
[Very well, I think we're good until morning. Let's hit the hay.]

The next morning...

Kanu: "Good morning."
[Morning. I just happen to have a camera. Derpdedoo, let's take photos.]

[Natural lighting. The best kind of lighting.]
Kanu: "Here comes the sun, do-do-do-doo."
[It's all right.]

[Ladies and gentlemen, the world's thinnest aho-ge.]
Kanu: "Like my old one!"
[Absolutely...except its pointed in the wrong direction and its, well, really thin.]

[Speaking of sunlight, we haven't gone outside in a while. So here we are.]
Kanu: "Ah. It's colder now."
[Definitely. Cold kinda happens around this time of year. Oh, here's a nice little opportunity.]

[Here's a kind of shadow shoot we haven't done.]
Kanu: "With my hair, my shadow looks fat."
[Indeed it does. With your shadow, you look taller and your arms are short.]

Kanu: "We've been taking a lot of photos lately."
[Yeah. But hey, as long as you're wanting to do so, I'll keep this camera around.]

[Let's tilt this a bit for a nicer effect...fantastic.]

Kanu: "It's not too much to post all of this at one time?"
[Well, perhaps it's a bit much, but hey. A bit of scrolling hasn't killed anyone (hopefully).]
Kanu: "I guess a little more would be okay then."
[Did you want to stop?]
Kanu: "Oh no, I don't mind really."

[Careful where you step. Dont want to get you dirty.]
Kanu: "I'll be careful."

[Aha. This ol' stump. Care to hop on?]
Kanu: "Yes, Pa."
[No need to be too fancy. Just relax. Low-angle shots, go!]

Kanu: "Hello, website."

Kanu: "Pa, I want to go inside now."
[Well, aren't you the little darling? You want to be carried now?]
Kanu: "Please~?"
[How can I say no? (Yeah. I'm a doting father. Crap.)]

[Oh.]
Kanu: "Yes, Pa?"
[Just remembered we got cookies. I'mma go bake some now.]
Kanu: "Can I help?"
[Oh, it's alright. This batch of cookies is ready-to-bake. All we do is put them on the tray. Just sit tight, okay?]

[Viola~]
Kanu: "Ooh. Cookies. And milk as well?"
[Can't have cookies without milk, Kanu. It's practically sacrilege...unless you're lactose-intolerant.]
Kanu: "That is a rule, as stated by Pa. Cookies must not be eaten without milk."
[Very good. For that, you get to have the first dip.]

Kanu: "Thank you, Pa. What about you?"
