Motoko arrived & Ghost in the Shell T08A2 Tank project!
My AlphaMax 1/6 Motoko arrived today, and she seemed bigger than a lot of my other 1/6. So, I might have to find a place in the room and get stuff that looks cool with it!
I was in Figure boards to see if there's any mecha from the series. They seem kind of small...
Then spotted this when I was doing research on Ghost in the Shell:

BTW, anyone had strange experiences with online stores/EMS shipping? I got charged around 6000 yen for shipping this when the box is mostly empty.

6000 JPY for shipping? Ouch. My guess is that since she's coldcast and therefore really fragile, they took the extra precaution of putting her into a significantly bigger box with more packaging material. Where did you order her from?
That almost made me want to cancel the entire order. But I'm already blacklisted by Amiami for cancelling too many orders. It did have a lot of packaging material.
Oh wow, they actually blacklist people? I was thinking of cancelling one of my pre-orders, but it's gonna be my second cancel; think I'll still be okay?
canceling once or twice shouldn't hurt. Out of like 30 orders, I think I've cancelled at least 10. I think I got the warning (very polite btw) when can cancelled 3 orders continuously. But still shocked they had a blacklist
The calendar probably did it, they had to use a larger box to fit it in.
I guess that's it. I wonder if it's be a lot cheaper if they shipped the calendar separately.
