Toyota GT86 and Nissan GT-R 2012 Model on GT5!
Hi guys! After recently updated my Gran Turismo 5 game to "Update 2.02" and bought the "Car Pack 2" DLC at the PlayStation Store, I was so thrilled to be the first to experience the anticipated 2013 Toyota 86 (Hachi-Roku) and the Nissan GT-R 2012MY. I am very pleased to try both of these Japanese sports cars and what can I say? Those cars are great! The Toyota GT86 is good at handling while the 2012 Nissan GT-R excels in top speed and acceleration.
I'm glad Gran Turismo 5 featured these rides for their latest update and DLC! ^^

This is the 2013 Toyota 86. It made a world premiere at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show and this is the first Toyota sportscar in collaboration with Subaru. I'm glad that GT5 Update 2.02 offered the Toyota GT 86 as a Christmas present for all of the players worldwide who updated the game with that version.
This is the production version of the 2009 FT-86 Concept and it is powered by a 2.0L D4-S Boxer engine that produces 200PS of power and 205Nm of torque.
It doesn't come out until next year but GT5 offered us the first taste of the new Hachiroku.

This here is the 2012 Nissan GT-R. This car is available at GT5's "Car Pack 2" DLC, which is now available at the PlayStation Store for $3.99. It includes four new cars like this, the VW Golf R, VW Scirocco R, and the 2011 Mini Cooper S. I''ve been waited long to try out the facelifted version of the Nissan GT-R R35 and with performance upgrades, Godzilla is getting badder on the road.
Believe us, I love this ride because it beats the most at the "World's Greatest Drag Race" I saw on the internet.

Now, both the Toyota 86 and the 2012 Nissan GT-R are STIG APPROVED! For handling, I would choose the Toyota 86 but when it comes to top speed and acceleration, the 2012 Nissan GT-R is my choice. Thank you very much, Mr. Yamauchi, for these wonderful presents!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS, MINNA-SAN!

Looks like the "Stig" from BBc's Top Gear
Also downloaded this update yesterday :D (which is also my birthday, so it feels like I got a birthday present XD)
Gotta say I really like the new features, especially the rim change for standard cars, and the tweaked racing sound effects. I don't know about the new camera behaviour, I think I'm just not used to it yet ^^:
the new Toyota 86 feels nice indeed~ I also like how it looks. Haven't tried the new GT-R, though.
Hey, you over there. Why don't you take picture of me and my new car? I paid you not to take picture of those kawaii girls overthere
it's the stig
a man with electricity in his head
lol
86 is coming out next year, 2012.
Should there be a Stig figma? or would that just be a Stigma? (^ ω ^)
cant wait for the BRZ, the GT300 version looks incredible
aww man...it sucks for me...i have a aus psn account but an asia copy of the game...the aus dlc didnt work on it!! i nwated to try the VW scirroco so bad...
It has been stated before that the region of the disc must match with the region of the PS Store. Which region number is Australia?
I suggest you to make an Asian country PSN account (Singapore or something) and buy the DLC from there. You could install them on your Aus account.
Back then, the DLCs were account-locked too, but since this december update, now it's only the region-lock remaining. The racing gear and paint pack are still account-locked, though....
For more information, I think you should read this:

I play my US region disc on Indonesia PSN account. In order to get the DLCs, I made a US account, and bought the DLCs from there. Then I installed the DLCs in my Indonesian account, it works. This wasn't possible before the December update. But there's also a catch... only the tracks and cars could be shared across the accounts of my PS3, while the racing gear and paint pack are only usable in the US account.
Hope this helps for you :)
cool thanks! ill give it a go
I chose 86 over the GT-R cause it's buyable, affordable and doesn't cost 2 arms arms and 2 legs to maintain it (in RL that is).
For the game, it's always GT-R FTW!.
