Thanks to a variety of intervening circumstances, I could not finish this peice by the holiday as I had hoped, but at least I have a good work-in-progress version to show!
The costuming is not done, so the figure is (somewhat) more bare than intended — but as it is about as detailed as a mannequin, one cannot technically count this as "nudity "... yet.
(I cannot say the final version will be so safe, however ) (^ ω ^)
Once complete, I will post a comparison to the prior version from ten years past.
The effort put into research of various ribbon-tying techniques was greater than the time spent actually drawing each of them, but I think was time well spent.
For some strange reason, the hands posed a problem, and I redrew them repeatedly over the course of two weeks before finally getting the structure right. This is odd, as hands are one of the details I usually have no trouble with in figure art. ＿|￣|○
Merry christmas anyway. can't wait to see the final version
