Baldylox's girls on Xmas Morning Part 2
Ok, here's the final part of the Christmas morning gift bonanza!
When we left off last time, all I had left was Rei, Mai and Manami to get their presents. So now we join Manami as she finishes handing out gifts.
Manami - "Ok yall, thanks for waiting for me to hand out all the other stuff!"
Mai - "Ah it's no problem, I liked seeing the others opening their goodies."
R - "Yes, that was quite enjoyable."
M - "Now to see what's in here!"
R - "Such nice paper.... I may keep this."
Lenny looks on as if to say, "Where's MY presents?"
R - "When did you figure out that I liked frogs Papa?"
Heh, you're easy to read my dear. You and Sango love watching Animal Planet and I have to keep erasing various reptile shows off the DVR list.
R - "Drat. And here I thought I had erased all of those programs."
Nice try Rei but no dice.
R - "Ah well, I shall be more diligent in the future. Thank you for the slippers and puzzle Papa, I like them."

"HA! How cool! Tiger slippers!"
"Whoa! This girl on the package looks just like me!"
Isn't that cool Mai? This present is like Mamimi's. The kitty ears and bloomers are from Uncle Jun97 and the rest is from me.
"Thank you Uncle Jun, you rock!"
How do you like your dress Rei?
"I am stunned actually. I had no idea you would actually buy me this dress! I figured if I asked for it, you would think I was losing it.... seeing as it is quite girly."
Oh come on Rei, you know I love seeing you all dressed up in cute outfits.
"I suppose you are right."
<whispers> Thank you Papa, I owe you one.
Hee hee....
Mamimi - "Ma-chan! Where are your presents?"
Manami - "Oh.. I totally forgot! I guess I got caught up making sure everyone else was taken care of to get mine."
Mamimi - "Silly Sissy! You're so sweet!"
R - "Here you are Manami, please open your present now."
Mamimi - "Oooo! Looks like it's full Ma-chan!"
Manami - "Well, help me see what's inside Mi-chan."
"Heh, monkey slippers, how fun!"
"Oh man! Ice cream floats and sundaes? AWESOME!"
"So much food! YAY!"
I know these are the cheap knock off Iwako erasers but for a buck each, I couldn't say no. XD
Lenny and Squiggy are searching for their presents... my Mom gave them some Angry Birds catnip toys!
"Check out my badass belt! I know the perfect shorts for this to go with!"
"And I got some sweet bracelets!"
A local friend who makes jewelry made these for Manami as a present.
Alice has gotten a nice chair for herself along with a stuffed bear and some mini-MINI M&M's!
M - "Wow, so many nice things! I never thought I'd see so many presents all in one place!"
R - "Me either! That was lots of fun tho."
Heh, well Ryomou and Mashiro, now it's time for the gifts Santa brought!
Mashiro - "What? There's MORE?"
Ryomou - "NO WAY!"
Elisabeth, Yukino and Miyuki - "HOORAY!"
"Oh yes....that is correct. Last year we DID get some extras from the fat man."
R - "Those ears are so cute on you Mai!"
M - "I'll let you rub them later Mou-chan...."
R - "Oooo! You're on!"
Ok girls, here they are!
Yukino and Elisabeth head right for the table and tea set.
I got this from my Mom. She found it at Target and said they have LOTS of stuff there that will fit American girl size dolls.
"Yay! I love tea! Now we have a super girly table and chairs we can use for tea parties!"
"Oh yeah, this is really nice. I can see us doing this every day!"
Looks like the DDdy girls have setup the pool table!
I got this at Walmart of all places. It was on sale for $25! It doesn't come with legs but I plan to make some for it so that it's at the proper height for them.
R - "I love the red backer! It's so bright!"
M - "Yeah, it's really nice and the ball setup is also cool."
"Look! Lucky Number 7!"
"These girls have no chance against me! School's in session!"
The pool cues are a bit big for the girls but I plan to get some wooden dowels and sand them down to use instead.
And now for the best thing ever...
A DD sized CRANE GAME!
I found this at a local store called Wonder Works. They normally carry science type stuff for kids. I went in looking for something totally different but when I saw this, I had to get it! And it was only $35! And it WORKS!

I plan to get better pics of this later when I have better lighting.
Here you can see the controls. It runs on 3 "D" cell batteries. And of course, my resident Otaku girl HAD to hop on the controls first. Miyuki says she is a pro at crane/UFO Catcher games. =3
Well, it looks like Miyuki wasn't kidding! She already has an Iwako eraser animal! Can she get it to the chute before her time runs out?
Mamimi - "Wow Miyuki! You got one on your first try!"
Miyuki - "I told you I was good! High five!"
Let's see what you got dear.
"Ok! Look, it's a cow!"
"How enthralling! How does it work? Where are the gears and electronics?"
You have to use these little plastic coins to get the machine running. Just like the arcade, put in a coin and the game starts up with music and lights!
As for the goodies inside, I got all those things at the Dollar Store! Most are party favors and such, several of them in a bag for a buck. Not too shabby and it makes for a colorful display.
Mashiro gets to try now!
Mamimi - "Ohh! I think you have one Mashiro!"
Rei - "Go left a bit more, there you go!"
Mamimi - "Congrats Mashiro! You did great!"
Mashiro - "Thank you!"
What did you get Mashiro?
"I think it's a little puzzle!"
I'm guessing the Santa gifts went over well. All the girls are busily playing away!
Miyuki - "Yeah Rei! Go right more! Then drop it!"
Rei - "I see, I see. I will have you this time!"
And the others are happily shooting pool....
Yoko - "Four ball, corner pocket!"
Ryomou - "Why is she always so good at games?"
Mai - "Don't worry Mou-chan, keep trying!"
And so ends our morning. I was so beat after all this! But the girls continued playing for the rest of the day.

It must be Christmas, Rei's gone all soft on us. It's nice to see this side of her from time to time. Very sweet. =3
Heh. Rei is still a girl and she has girly needs! She just doesn't tell me about them as often as I'd like. I'm glad you like her like this on occasion tho. =3
Between this and the ice cream someone sure made out well this Christmas. ^^
Oh yes! I know my girls likes and she likes food. XD I made sure to make her happy.
You're not actually suggesting she might cook are you? XD
Ha! She *did* in fact cook me cookies for my birthday last year! So she can cook if she needs to.... I usually do all the cooking tho. She says I'm better than her anyways. =3

Thanks! I know she will look great in it! When they first came out, I knew I wanted one and that Rei would wear it first. I'm planning on taking pics of her this weekend if I find time!

I sense if she doesn't win often enough to keep her distracted you might end up with a disassembled crane game. It's one way to get the prizes out right? And you get to all the mechanical goodness while you're at it. (Of course I'm sure she can put it back together.)
I fear you are correct. XD She has that gleam in her eye that I haven't seen since she and Seina took apart my old computer. I'll have to make sure this thing stays intact long enuff for her sisters to use it. ^_^
Looks like your girls all had a great time at Christmas this year. That pool table and crane game are very cool, I'm sure the girls will have lots of fun with them. And they can take a break for tea while waiting to get to either game. Now you just need a nice DD sized fountain drink dispenser and soft pretzel machine.
Thank you sir! I couldn't go silly this year with individual presents so I did it with ones they can all use. I think it worked out well and will give me lots of picture ops later. You're the second person to mention a wet bar so I guess I *do* need to find one for them. XD

I didn't know these were so easy to find. I have only seen one of them in pictures with Dollfies and that was from a friend in Canada. I'm just happy I was able to get one. And I can't stop messing with it either! XD
XD It was in Argos. My brother had a friend one day who had like one outside and was playing and I had a go and ended up getting one for Christmas XD I attempted to sell it once or twice but I'm glad I didn't or Emiko wouldn't have one XD mine is currently filled my erasers that I collect as I have no where else for them XD

Mashiro can also get it back together well! It's just me that can't do it. I know Rei could probably do it in a matter o seconds... she's really good at mind puzzles and stuff like that.
XD You should give her a Bedlam cube to try ^-^ I've been at that puzzle for a whole year and still can't complete it
"Bedlam Cube" What's that? Is it like a Rubiks Cube?
Kinda XD it's like - blocks that are in different shapes to make a cube. You take them out and have to put them back into the box in it's original square shapes XD I'm always like 1 piece out or a bit is sticking out somewhere ^-^

Rei, Agatha insists that you should take that thing apart, asks for pictures, and wants to see how well it functions with a plasma blaster security system installed.
HA HA HA! Don't tempt her Agatha! She is already trying to pop the top off the machine to see the tracks in action while Miyuki was playing it! XD I hid all her tools so hopefully this crane will stay intact for a few weeks....
Pft, "weeks"? You're awfully optimistic. Then again, Rei's sparky tendencies are relatively mild, so that may be right for her. . . With Agatha, taking her tools would--well, you already knows what happens when you take Agatha's tools. XD
HA HA! It's true tho, Rei isn't into disassembling stuff nearly as much as Agatha seems to be. So most of the time, I don't have to worry about coming home to find my TV or DVR in 300 pieces.... XD
And yes, taking Agatha's tools is a no no... I know that now. LOL

I can see why this shoot took you forever! Rei's going to look awesome in that Reading in the Sun set--it's cute enough to be different from her usual stuff, but sleek enough to still be her. :) You better hide that crane game if Agatha ever comes to visit though, because then I can *guarantee* it'll end up in pieces, then reassembled as some (probably dangerous) sparky variant. =P
I told ya! About 5 hours in this one and it was really exhausting. But very well worth it in the end. I'm glad you see Rei in this outfit as nice! When I first saw it, she was first in my mind to wear it.
If Agatha comes to say hello, there are LOTS of things I'll have to hide for fear of weapons being made that will destroy the island I live on! XD
5 hours, yikes. Then again, I didn't take note of how long the Nanoha intro shoot took, which over the course of take 1 and take 2 may have started getting close. . . not including the PS color correction on pretty much every shot (which had to be done individually rather than in batch, blech). So, yeah, I empathize!
Oh yeah, totally can see Rei in it. I kind of toyed with getting it for Nanoha, because it's plaid, but in the end I decided it wasn't quite loud enough for her. XD
Things, yes! And there are certain people who will need to be hidden too. . . Definitely Manami, though I can't tell if Mou-chan would be tempted to troll Agatha or not. It's also too early to know if Saber would have to be kept separate from Agatha too, but I do have a sneaking suspicion.
Yeah, I had them dressed in PJ's the day before to knock down some of the time. But yes, having to move them, pose things and actually open presents and all, it was an easy 5 hours... maybe a little more. ^o^
Rei likes palids as do most of my girls but she isn't into the super loud colors. She likes her clothing to be more understated. That's why this set was so nice for her... very pastel colors to help accentuate her hair and eyes.
Oh come on now, you know if Manami was detained while Agatha was here, I'd never hear the end of it! *A FEW* minutes with those two together should be fine right? RIGHT??? XD And I'm not sure about Saber just yet. I know how she is going to act with my girls but having Agatha around may make her more uncomfortable and therefore more dangerous. ^_^
Plus she's not a frills kind of girl usually, so the sleek cut of the RitS set suits her well too. :) Nanoha's turning out to be a bit more of a vivid colors and laces kind of girl, which I don't know why it surprises me given the clothes she wore as a kid in the first series/the movie. XD
Hm. I suppose only if they were a few closely supervised minutes. XD Nanoha and Mai would definitely both need to be "on duty", and having Mamimi around couldn't hurt. Pancake however would have to be out of the room until Agatha and Manami were separated, the little troll. He'd totally play up Manami just to annoy Agatha into paying more attention to him! I guess we'll just have to wait and see what Saber's like before knowing if she'd exacerbate conflict or mediate it. . . or if it would depend on her mood toward Manami that day.
heh, supervised is an understatement I'm sure! Yes, mai and Mou-chan along with Mamimi would provide enuff coverage I think. And since Manami loves stuffed animals, she'd be all about playing with Pancake. =3
I'm not sure that Saber will really mind Manami too much given that most Sabers seem to have an affinity for food. Maybe they could buddy up over that.... or become bitter rivals for snacks. XD
