HG 1/144 Beginning Gundam by RG
Ah, happy new year everyone ^_^
Once again it's another post months after my last one, sorry again DX
Anyway here's the High Grade of the OVA Gunpla Builder's one and only Beginning Gundam.
Got on HLJ.com for 50% off (but with the current yen rate, it doesn't really help much)
Some small details about the kit good and bad one's:
+ It has a really nice colorful color scheme, It uses the 4 main Gundam colors red, blue, yellow, white but they don't using it so much that it looks ugly.
+ The design itself is stands out from other Gundams I think, and despite it being a little kiddy looking, I feel that it works for the show.
- Too many little parts. Triangles EVERYWHERE, it was a little annoying putting it together at times.
- The arms can be a little wonky, the mechanics of it aren't of the usual HGs. There were a couple of times where they fell off
Overall, I wouldn't pay for this kit for the full price but I think it's still a nice kit that is worth grabbing. What do you think of this kit? Let me know with a comment down below.

For me personally, not a fan of the Beginning and all of its variants cause it doesn't look intimidating, especially when I consider Gundams to be machines of war.
I do like the series' recolouring of the UC units.
Haha yeah the age group it was targeted for was mostly for young children but i think the kit itself is a little bit difficult for the targeted audience.

Yeah they do have some interestingly new designs like Forever Gundam, I was not a fan of the New Hi Nu coloring, the original blue design really popped in my opinion.
