so during the january sales i decided to look at getting a new camera and i think i might have found one to suit my needs
the nikon s3100 + 8gb SD card all for the low(ish) price of £104
can't remember ll the specs of it at the moment but the basics are 14MP lens, 5xoptical zoom and lithium-ion re-chargeable battery
I don't recommend that one, I own one and after each pictures it takes forever to load.
After a picture the screen blackouts and takes like a minute or two to let you take another one :(, I might be exaggerating a little bit, but it has an awful lag between photos, everything besides that it's ok.
I agree with this. This camera is driving me crazy with the lag. I have a very fast SD card, and it just can't keep up. Also, the macro function is not terribly good--my Sony DSC-W50 from 2006 takes clearer macro. :(
D: don't tell me i have gone a bought a aweful camera... T_T i thought nikon was meant to be good
It's still a good brand, nikon always meant quality. Maybe it the mode shot or setting that need to be fixed so that it does not lag too much between pictures. Still a good camera IMO.
