Anime Los Angeles 2012 and my final critique
The past weekend was Anime Los Angeles 2012. Headed down to LA early Friday morning with my friends. Arrived in the afternoon and went about enjoying the con. I missed the ALA doll meet and was a bit disappointed since it looked like a good amount of people gathered. >< I brought two girls with me and took some pictures of them. Also took some pics with a fellow comrade who brought his girl along as well. If anyone had seen an idiot with a Dollfie Dream cosplaying as Love is War Miku sitting on top of a backpack, that was me. XD
Also I'm throwing in some pictures of my final critique for my final semester at university. I'm a fine arts major with an emphasis in ceramics so I brought one of my girls along and took some pictures of her with my pieces. I'm quite fortunate to be an art major since my fellow ceramicists were quite welcoming.

I think I saw you in the halls. Oddly enough, as you can see from my profile pic, I was cosplaying as the original "Love is War" Miku on Day 2 of ALA (I couldn't carry the megaphone all day, though, since I was borrowing it from a friend who needed it later that day.).
Anyway, your girls look gorgeous, and I really like your shots of them! Hope to see you at future conventions (A doll meetup is a bit out of the question for me as I don't own a DD yet and most likely won't for a while. I do have a 1/6 Azone back at my home in the Bay Area, though.) and to hear good news about the results of your critique and final days of your college experience (undergraduate at least)!
I think I saw you as well on Day 2. I was carrying my girl on Day 1 only, I got too scared of her falling and hitting something after that day so I decided not to do it again. might become a one day thing during cons.
Doll meetups don't necessarily mean Dollfie Dreams or Super Dollfies only, people bring a wide variety of dolls to meets. You should try your hand at going to one with your Azone, I'm sure you will be welcomed. Not to mention you'll get an idea of what various dolls look like in real life. Most cons have doll meet ups and are a good place to meet fellow doll owners. I usually head to most of the local cons up here like Anime on Display, Fanime, etc. For LA cons AX and ALA are the ones I got to. I'm sure we'll see each other at a future con.

Thank you! I've been going to anime conventions for years now and even now I still get overwhelmed by everything and forget to take photos. When the convention ends I usually regret not taking pictures of my time there, the cosplays, and other things. I need to change that. ^^

Yes, all the pottery there is made by me. ^^ I too love pottery and ceramics! For now my plan is to turn a little space I have acquired into a workspace for not only my ceramics but for my other arts in general. Just need to procure the funds for a kiln and wheel. I might have to put off on Dollfies and my other hobbies for a bit. >< But this is what I want to do in the future. I was a painting/drawing major in the beginning, but when I got introduced to ceramics, I fell in love with it right away and immediately switched my emphasis. How about you? I would like to hear the experience from a fellow ceramics lover!

I loved them as well! I've been looking for a nice pair of red eyes for a while now and who'd of thought they would be a pair of Volks eyes. These are the animetic A-type metallic eyes. I didn't even know that there was a "metallic" version for these eyes, but they do stand out more than the normal version.

Thank you! Yes the Miku is mine, though she is still incomplete. I need to find a wig that is more closer to miku's color.
