I'm in China!!! & 新年快乐!! Happy New Year :D

I'm in China!! I got to Asia! After lord knows how many years of wanting, I'm finally here :DD And I'm here for a whole year!(Possibly longer :D) I'm going to be teaching English in Dinghai, Zhoushan.

Currently I'm staying with a friend in Lingchen during the New Years holiday, and while I train for a bit, but I shall be moving to Dinghai once I start teaching.

I still can't believe I'm here XD It's mental. I got to China. One of the 4 places I've wanted to go to for as long as I can remember me wanting to travel anywhere.(2 of the others I shall be going to while I'm here if I get my way XD) It still feels surreal. But so so so so awesome. I've only been here for 6 days. Less than a week. And it already feels weirdly normal. Apart from the staring & people saying 'Hello' lol. But this area doesn't have alot of foreigners I'm told, which is why I'm more likely to get stares, specially with how I look. On my second day I was called 'white like Barbie', which isn't something I was expecting to happen lol. Need to take waaaaaay more pics. Got hardly any atm. Cos I keep forgetting my camera or not bringing my bag cos it's too much hassle(specially in a club lol).

I also set up a new blog, because I can't access wordpress without a proxy or whatever. Going to light fireworks now as it's New Years!! 新年快乐!! Xin Nian Kuai Le!!! (Learning more & more Mandarin everyday so far XD and my pronunciation is getting better too!
