Having trouble deciding..

between a MG Sword Impulse and a MG Force Impulse. The price difference is only 6 dollars, and Force Impulse already comes with one Excalibur Anti-Ship sword. But on the other hand, Sword Impulse just looks completely bad ass with the dual Excaliburs. Color isnt an issue since Ill be doing a custom paint scheme to either of them. I cant afford both so what would you decide on and why ?
sword impulse... hands down
-maybe you can buy the "force pack" only later down the road, not the whole kit... just the pack lol

Colour wise I recommend Sword as well...
But the Flyer looks better with Force Pack instead of Sword Pack...
Im not to worried about the flyer since the model will most likely be in assembled form most of the time. But it looks like Im starting to lean towards sword impulse.. Still, Force Impulse also looks epic !
Wow...thats a tough decision...I would choose Force Impluse. You might be able to get the dual swords from a parts store or something.
Theres an issue with the hands (of force impulse) not being able to hold another sword using the left hand. Oh and theres no parts store where I live haha.
Sword Impulse, but if can always get Destiny Gundam instead.

Yea thats one reason why Im thinking on what to get. If Force Impulse didnt come with the Excalibur, Id definitely get Sword Impulse.
Tough choice but I would recommend....Force Impulse! You get Force's cooler looking backpack with one Excalibur. Compared to Sword who only got his sword to show off, and Sword alone isn't as impressive looking as Force with its backpack.
Unless you feel like posing the dual wield all the time, which is troublesome because of balancing problems, hand joints which will wear out over time, and trying to fit the whole Sword dual swords in one photo, ...etc.
And also beam sabers only comes with Force, though too generic, looks better than the boomerang aka Flash Edge, in my opinion.
If I might add... if you based on the show itself, Sword Impulse is most effective against big sluggish ships as in the boxart. Against MS, it isn't useful at all, like in episode 1. But Force Impulse is able to defeat even Kira Yamato. Which do you think is cooler now? ^^
Good points, but Im not buying a model because of its effectiveness in the anime. I know Force Impulse owned Freedom (which was kinda cool but sad at the same time haha). Still, you have valid points, but with the posing, worn out hand joints, etc. Tough choice !
Force impulse would be good, but I hear it has some kinda problems with it's foot joint. Something about if you pull it down at an angle too much, it's bars fall out of it's tube mechanism. I'm not too sure about Sword thought.
Honestly, I like both gundams, so I'd probably decide with a coin toss. Are they both the same price?

Depends on what you like mate:
If you love swords: Sword Impulse
If you love swords + guns: Force Impulse.
Personally, I love swords. So my choice would be Sword Impulse.
Well, both Force and Sword impulse come with a beam rifle. But yea I like the look of the excaliburs mounted on Sword impulse's back !
Sword impulse, i got it, and i Didn't regret it one bit. One warning though, for some reason the peg in hand will not go into the sword, but doesn't really matter because when you have your 52cm sword.. It looks badass in every possible angle. Force impulse in my opinion is pretty standard, and doesn't really have much to make me go buy it aside from the single anti-ship sword.. But Ya SWORD IMPULSE ALL THE WAY~
i would go for sword impulse simply coz it has 2 ship destroyer class weapons and it looks badass either way

How about buy one of it, then order the upper body parts?
With that you can save money without buying another lower body parts :D
I bought the force impulse.. really like sword impulse model, color scheme, and it's dual excalibur.. but still prefer the force impulse.. because of the force silhoutte.. excalibur just another add to it..
force is a flying gunpla (need a stand to pose beautifully), while sword is more a ground gunpla.. (just put in on the ground..)
In my opinion I choose Force over Sword..
if you have aile strike gunda buy sword impulse if don't buy sword impulse

Already have an Aile strike model :] but I think I finally made my decision and Ill just get Sword Impulse. Speaking of "big bad ass guns" I have a FAZZ and Lukas Strike IWSP coming in the mail :]
After reading all the comments, I just decided to get Sword Impulse. Ive always been a fan of Gundam with big swords. So whats better than having a model with a big sword ? Having a model with two big swords haha. Either way, I would have been happy with either one, but sword impulse took the cake.
Nice choice, I like both, but if it comes down to me, I'd get the Force Impulse first then Sword Impulse. If it was only one then I'd choose Force Impulse. Why? because it feels and seems easire to display on my desk along side of my [AILE] Strike (on a stand). Got space for my Eva's and Figma's too :3
Go for Force Impulse. You won't regret it.
Already decided and bought Sword Impulse. But Force Impulse is def. next :] Im kinda curious on why they didnt make a MG Blast Impulse..
