Dakimakura Collection 22

Posted by Willowywicca

Starting out this edition with Yuri from Angel Beats! curtesy of Chara-ani. This is a smooth knit by them again, the same material as for their previous Yui cover too. This one was announced fairly long after the other covers of Yui and Tenshi, and I imagine it's probably the last of their line of Angel Beats! covers.

Then to go with Yuri, we have Utae Sonokoe from recent ecchi anime R-15. She was my favourite girl in the show, so when I heard the limited edition BD vol4 release came with this beauty I had to get it (despite not currently having a BD player). She's also a smooth knit, though the material is a lot more shiny than most smooth knits (more like a peachskin or polyester suede cover) but it feels and stretches like a smooth knit. It's rather confusing how many material types there are for dakimakura and also the variations that exist within each single type.

      Thanks :)

I store most by having them folded in a drawer, I do however take care to only fold them horizontally (3 times) nowadays. I find that a vertical fold causes a rather noticeable crease straight down the middle of the image when I hang them up again afterwards (it's fine if I put a pillow in it, but I tend to hang them far more since I only have 1 pillow).
