Blackie Makes Plushies! Intro

So here are my personal projects ^-^ (next post will be the ones I made for others). Later on, I might do individual posts for each one.

I apologize for some of the photos, though. Lighting hasn't been good today, and I have a simple point-and-click camera.

On the right is my very first one: Elijah Kiel from the Gundam SEED Astray manga. Quite crude compared to more recent ones. He was made on a whim and I didn't have acrylics on hand, so I used oil paint (which took forever to dry).

Left is Agnes Brahe (or Ergnes, or whatever the heck Bandai is calling him now, because they could never make up their mind on his romanization), from the Gundam SEED Delta Astray manga. My second plushie, and the first with the current body pattern. I though his jacket would be easy, but ended up being quite complicated, so he also ended up a bit crude. Might rework him in the future.

From Akira Amano's Katekyo Hitman Reborn! I've made Gokudera Hayato and Hibari Kyoya. Goku is one of my favorite characters, so making him was the first order of business. Hibari isn't one of my favorites, he was a request from someone whom I lost contact with so I decided to keep him for myself and make all the Vongola family.

Also from Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, Chrome Dokuro (in a costume based on a color spread from the manga); and Gelaro, the Snow Guardian from the NDS Reborn! game, Fate of Heat III.

Because I'm a fan of the PlayStation Digimon World games, I just had to make the main characters: Hiro from the first DW and Akira from DW2.

From another Shonen Jump manga, Toshiaki Iwashiro's Psyren are two antagonists: On the left is Blackie!Shiner and the right is Official!Junas. When Shiner was first introduced, I was itching to plushify him, but his color scheme was unknown and ended up making my own. A color image of him finally appeared on the cover of vol 15 which was the second to last volume, two years after I had made the plushie, and of course, my color scheme doesn't even get close to the official. Junas is more straightforward, I made him when I saw a color image of him on vol 14.

Crossdresses!! From Beelzebub ep 6 (one of the best anime fillers ever) is Nurse!Furuichi Takayuki. After watching that episode, I just couldn't help making the poor guy. Then there's Oozora Hibari, title character of the 80s manga and anime Stop!! Hibari-kun!

More randomness in the form of Mezumaru, from Nurarihyon no Mago (might make Gozumaru later on, since they're together most of the time), and DC Comics resident megalomaniac "son" of Brainiac with a weird sense of what exactly is justice, Vril Dox.

Hailing from the World Inside my Head, is one it's residents, Fiori Degani. He's a bit battered, since I take him out with me quite often (and takes my place in travel photos XD).

And WIPs, in various states of sewing and dress (or undress): (left to right) top: Atsushi, the main Tamer in DW3; Adrian, the personification of my country in a DA Hetalia fanproject called Hetamerica (I'm not a fan of Hetalia, but it's my country, and we're celebrating the Bicentennary, and I liked the design); Lambo from Katekyo Hitman Reborn!; Lynn Minmay from Macross (though it's hard to tell from the blank body...). Bottom: Leo, from and Israeli series named Split; Thrawn, yes THAT Grand Admiral Thrawn from the Star Wars extended universe; and Quetzalcoatl, who so far has refused to be plushified...
