Fun and games!
Today Yoko has decided to teach Mamimi how to play "Connect Four". The girls got this game for Christmas and this is the first time they've played it. Somehow, Yoko knows how to play already. Odd how she knows so much about games. =3
M - "So how does it go again Yoko?"
Y - "It's easy Mamimi, you'll catch on quick."
"All you do is drop these colored chips into the board to line them up and make 4 of them connect in a row."
"And I can have them line up in any direction right?"
"Yep! So we'll do a test run first ok? I'll start out by dropping a chip here then you drop one whereever you like."
PLUNK PLUNK
Y - "See? I think you'll get the hang of it really fast!"
M - "Yeah! It's fun!"
Y - "I'll just drop one here..."
M - "Ah ha! I can block you here!"
Y - "Yes you can. Good job!"
Y - "And another here."
PLUNK
M - "Hey, I can go sideways too right?"
Y - "Oh yeah, it's more fun when you get to do them like that!"
PLUNK
M - "Now where to put this one..."
PLUNK
M - "There it goes!"
Y - "You sure you wanted to drop it there?"
M - "Why shouldn't I? Was I wrong?"
Y - "Oh no, nothing wrong, I'm just planning ahead that's all."
Y - "Planning ahead is also a fun side to this game."
M - "I'm trying to but you drop these chips in fast!"
Y - "I'm not THAT fast really."
M - "Yes you are!"
M - "HA! I blocked you good there! You thought you were gonna trick me!"
Y - "Drat! You got me good that time Mi-chan!"
Y - "Or DID you?"
M - "Whaaa? What do you mean?"
Y - "BAM! CONNECT FOUR! Ha ha! You got suckered!"
M - "Oh man! Where? I didn't even see it coming!"
Y - "See? Right here, diagonally."
M - CRAP! I totally missed it! And I even helped you get up to that spot too!"
Y - "But you see how to play now right? It's fun to think ahead as well as thinking about how your opponent can actually help you win."
<<Mamimi bangs her fists on the table>>
M - "I want a rematch Yoko! I can take you!"
M - "But first... where did those random clothes come from?"
Y - "Who knows and who cares? Let's restart!"
M - "You're on!"
Yes we KNOW you have huge tracts of land, Manami--we don't need you to demonstrate. XD
HA HA! A Monty Python reference, I approve! XD And come on, you know that any chance Manami gets to show off, she's all over it. I guess she just wanted some attention..... =3

Yeah, these Ersa Flora metallics really do reflect a ton of light. I'm happy with them!

I had been wanting to do something like this for a while, I just needed to find a way to present it properly. ^_^
Hm, looks like the distraction got distracted!
As soon as Mou-chan showed up, Manami was distracted. She's all about the boobies, you know this. XD
"Who knows and who cares"? LOL, I get the impression "random clothes" aren't an uncommon occurrence in your house. XD
That was hilarious! It was funny enough to see Yoko snipe Mamimi, but Manami and Mou. . .Priceless! Especially since they eventually get tired of trolling and run off to do their own thing.
Random clothes are a daily happening here. I try to make them cleanup after themselves but they get excited about something and forget to pick up clothing. Rei and Sango are good at keeping things tidy but they can't be everywhere all the time! XD
I'd wanted to do this for a while, I just needed the right circumstances for it to work well. Two stories at once was kind of fun but damn tiring. =3
. . . somehow it doesn't surprise me to hear that Manami is a slob, though I hadn't figured Mou for one as well.
Well, it turned out fantastic--definitely worth it!
Well, I wouldn't say ANY of my girls are slobs.... they just sometimes get distracted and forget to pick up after themselves. Manami is the worst at it tho... Mou-chan is usally very good about it. Unless, of course, she's distracted by someone or something. XD
I dunno, I'd say "too ADD to bother picking things up" may be the very definition of a slob! Which also means with the right distraction there's a little slob in all of us. XD
Heh, I suppose when you say it that way then it's true. =3 But she's such a cute and sexy slob! I can't help but love her. ^_^
They're so focused on the game!
Yoko is ALWAYS serious when she's playing games. =3 Mamimi was just trying to keep up so she couldn't be distracted either.
Ok, so I have to admit, I absolutely stopped reading the dialogue, I was too amused by the "background dancers" lol, Great story!

I was going to say that connect four is clearly a very engrossing game, but then it occurred to me that such things are probably so common around your place that it's hardly even noticeable. XD

Ha ha! I guess things like this *do* tend to happen with high frequency here. But Yoko is all about being serious with her gaming and poor Mamimi was just trying to keep up with her. =3 Thanks about the camera work, it took me forever to do this but I'm happy with the results.

This is great! I had a tough time deciding where to look... It was fun watching Mamimi and Yoko play, but Manami and Ryomou really stole the show!

that game of connect 4 was intense. surely there was absolutely nothing else more important or distracting to take away the suspense that game had.

I'm glad you think so highly of this story! =3 As for the game, it's the travel version of Connect Four so it's made for playing in the car while travelling. The size worked out really well.

That's the outfit named "Pink Puff" from Nightfall. It was in the first batch of aftermarket clothing that I ever got for Manami when she first arrived. And it's been worn by lots of my girls! They all love it and so do I. =3 It comes with a little choker but I left that off so she could wear her necklace that I made her. She seems to like it better. ^_^

Yoko and Mamimi were so adorable being so focused on their game. And I loved the Manami and Mou-chan photo bombing, it was too perfect! I love how spicy they were making things in the background. I'm sure most games that don't gather much interest from people would be more popular if hot stuff like that in the background happened all the time...LOL! XD
I also loved the end of where Mamimi is like where did those clothes come from...LOL! Just too good!!! :D And gotta love Yoko with her who cares, new game! LOL! XD
Thanks so much for the kind compliments. It took me a while to get this to look right and it was time consuming too. But the end result worked out really well so I'm happy. =3 Background events are fun when done right and I'm glad this worked.
All the girls did well for me and I agree that games would be more fun with background happenings like this. If this type thing occurred every time "Connect Four" was played, I'd be playing ALL DAY. XD

I got Mamimi's wig from a lady in North Carolina who sells doll stuff. It's made by "Monique Gold" and I really like it. It's very soft and has given me no problems other than one pigtail coming loose. My big bear paw hands wouldn't let me get the tiny band back on so I took the other one off so she has her hair down now. =3 The short purple-ish wig that my Yoko uses all the time is also from Monique Gold.
