Mim's Feb Loot

Hope you've all been well. I myself have had a pretty busy beginning to the year with picking up my Japanese studies in addition to my never ending IT certification studies. Trying to fit in Anime time and even just unwrapping loot tends to sadly only fall on the occasional weekend orz
I've had some fantastic loot of late and I was wanting to share some pics. Hope you like them :)

I picked up my first Weiss Shwarz cards last weekend at Cancon in Canberra (see my last post). My cards folder looked kinda dull so I cut a slip in the top and swapped out the inserted picture with a nice Yoko pencil board I had sitting round. Big fan of Dog Days and although the cards are all in Japanese I'm using it as motivation for my Japanese studdies ^.^
I picked up two starters and a few booster boxes. Heres what you get as part of any Weiss Shwarz starter box. Theres the nice cardbox, a premade deck containing some cards you'll need for building a deck of that expansion, 60 sleve pack, play mat, rules and also a standard booster box containing 6 card packs. If just wanting to get started, rather than collecting a set, you can get away with buying just one of these starters for your desired show.
I'm pretty picky with PVC's. These two proved quite tasty.
Sadly her hair snapped in transit, but with the correct application of super glue, all was right with the world. Something I've never seen before was the inclusion of three transparent inserts for her base. Brilliant idea imo.
The level of detail, quality of sculpt and paint are exceptional.
Lovely tan and some great shading for her skin tones.

My first One Piece figure. Nami is a real bombshell.
Like my Tekken / Christie figure the paint finish and subtle shading is lovely.
I'm sure there is something stopping those pants from falling...
Tokyo hunter managed to secure a special version of Taiga that came with an extra face for me.
She looks really cute with that face :D
Having played with all the full size Miku Nendo's so far, this ones the most epic hands down.
I don't want to know where she hides that planet buster.
The first Nendo to come with enough for two full versions of herself? Win!

Two new wall scrolls to keep my Nanoha one company at the back of the room. I have the red Nanoha second movie wallscroll on order, but am not sure of its size >.<. Hope it the same size as the b4 ones on the left.

For such small scales I was plesantly surprised by the quality of both PVC's. Nami is indeed fantastic.

I like the figure of Christie and about the W.S cards I believe there are from other series?
Hmm though tempted to call them expansions I think the more appropriate term would be modules. They essentially bring out a module for shows like Dog Day's, Railgun, Katanagatari, Nanoha etc.
Each module uses the same core rules but have their own flavour and can even be mixed between modules due to them all being based around the same core rules. It’s better to stick with all the same cards from the same module though due to the symmetry involved between cards.
Oh is that so, maybe one day I´ll find those cards depending from the shows that I seen and I also was wondering how to play them and what is the goal to win the game.

Very nice nendoroids! I want all of them! I didn't know about the Taiga variant though; is Tokyo Hunter the only place you saw them?
