Obitsu Stand (Large)
With so many girls, I was really starting to run out of stand. And one thing I really don't like about stands is how you have to keep adjusting it's height all the time. So when Obitsu decided to release a mega version of their normal 1/6 stand I was quite interested.
And after seeing some of the most amazing photo from peoples with 2 stands I placed my order for them. And here they arrives today.

Let me get the first thing right this thing is big... very big, I think it have to do with the thickest.

The stand is make from a clear plastic that .... I would say wouldn't last too long. This type of plastic have a habit to crack eventually.

It sort of able to support a DDS...
But I think DD in general are too heavy for just one stand and posing her in mid air is very very hard. A MDD would be no problem with the much lighter body

This post took me like 15 min to balance out

no, I did not forget to flip the photo. she is walking (not actually touching) the wall.

Here what it be like with 2 stand, again balancing is very hard with the weight.

Maybe you want to use it for extra weapon holder???
here's on way it could be used, but I cheated... ミルヒ Didn't even need a stand for the sword in this position.

a few fun post never hurts.

Over all unless I am not doing the balancing right, here's my impression
- clear plastic for the clean looks but will crack and break eventually.
- DD are way too heavy for just one stand, at least in the movable claim build
- major issue with the fitting, it's so tight that I can't pull it out and rebuild the stand using the other style at all
- 2 stand does wonder but again, I say it's better but not great
- If you have a lighter doll like MDD I would imagine everything except for it being too tight will be gone.
* Would I ever leave her in the air on those stand? Never, it's not stable!!!

She looks so kawaii !!! The stand looks very durable. Gonna have to look that up. ;)
The stand over all is good just that it's way way way too tight.
Thanks for the review. Finding a good doll stand is so hard.
I have one from Dollfie World and one from Cool Cat and they are both very nice. Not so much for posing, but in terms of look and durability, they're both quite good.
Obitsu makes really nice dolls but not really nice doll stands for some reason. I have several of their stands for 1/6th and they're pretty crappy, too. Oh well. Here's hoping someone with a passion for dolls reads this and designs an affordable but quality for 1/3 and 1/6.
Some day maybe our hope will come true...
Thank you for the review , quite interesting .I wish I could find a really good stand O_O
well Obitsu stand did have one advantage that I really liked, the C-clamp is much easier to open and close than the normal metal one. which really helps with clothing that have ribbon or other stuff in the waist area.
Millhi is so CUTE~! She steals the limelight of the stand...
lol, I think she sure did.
Thanks for this review...We need some new doll stands to shake things up!
I think it's an interesting way to do a 1/3 stand (which surprisingly no one seem to have tried before) and given the price point, I can see why everyone buy them
Nice but indeed not something that seems fully suitable for a DD's weight.
yes indeed, if you just use it like normal stand there's no problem but don't put as much hopes on doing mid air flip and so on
