Yoko at school
Ok, not *really* in school but close enuff!
My friend DefectiveAngel asked to see my Yoko in a school uniform similar to the one Mashiro was wearing in another post I made ( she was wearing Natsuki's school uniform ). And when my Mom dropped off this little gem the other day, it was a sign to go ahead and get these photos done!
So here's Yoko at school, getting ready for art class!
Yoko arrives at her assigned desk.
As usual, my Mom the "Thrift Store Queen" has struck gold! She found this desk at a local thrift store for FIVE BUCKS! She wasn't sure if it would fit the girls or not but for $5 she was willing to chance it. I'm glad she did because it seems to work really well!
Yoko carries lots of things so she needs a big backpack to hold it all.
I picked this backpack up when I was visiting Japan. It was in a Volks store but I don't think it was made by Volks.
Yoko is a good student so she waits patiently in her desk for class to begin.
Time to get out her art supplies!
Looks like Yoko has a new purse!
They had a 4 pack of these in the party supply section of Walmart for TWO DOLLARS. I thought they were pretty cute.
Heh, looks like Ebichu came along to school today!
Here, Yoko is getting out some utensils for class.... a stapler and some tape.
The stapler, tape and pencil sharpener are erasers I got in the part supply area of Walmart as well. I got those 3 and some scissors for a dollar.

Ahh, gotta sharpen those pencils!

Yoko's desk is kind of old and has seen better days. The kids in the classes before her are very bad! Just look at all the graffitti on the desktop!
Ahh, class is over and Yoko can relax a bit while waiting for her friends to arrive.
As you may have guessed, this isn't a premade school uniform. I put this together using random clothes I have around. These all seemed to work well together tho.
The white shirt is from Volks, the vest and tie are from Azone and the skirt is from Nine9Style. Her baggy socks are from Nightfall and her shoes are from Alices Collections.
Yoko's friends show up and she starts hamming it up for their cell phone cameras! What pose best suits school girls? Why "V" signs of course!

Ha ha! Just fater I graduated high school, I dated a senior girl in a Catholic school and they also wore outfits similar to this. The skirts weren't as short tho... XD

Heh, not today she isn't! She likes art classes so she goes to all the ones the school offeres. =3

A very cool find! That reminds me that I haven't been to a decent yard sale in ages. The engravings on the desk just give it that much more character.....

Oh Salica.... don't say that! No one will think you're stupid. I found that little mistake utterly adorable! =3 I'm pretty sure everyone knows that English isn't your native language so it's fine. English is a ridiculous language at times so it's not easy to learn and use at all. ^_^

When i saw the pictures of Flickr, I just loved the whole of Yoko's outfit thinking how well it went together and the backpack was simply amazing.
The desk was a great find, and again, when I saw it on Flickr, I thought you had become a true master and started to make school style desks for your girls, thinking how great the writing was.
A very nice collection of Photos and Yoko was once again kinf enought to help and not complain.

In looking at the desk more, I do think I could make these out of wood. The design isn't too hard to do and I have all the tools I'd need to cut and shape it correctly. I may try to make of these eventually. I'll let you know if I do!

This is all so cute..she looks like the "model" student. I love the desk and the grafitti, such a nice touch. Reminds me of my middle high days....oh so long ago :(

Yoko is like the picture perfect student. She is so very cute sitting at her desk waiting to learn. Also this is neat it has a little place for her to store her backpack while in class. ^_^

The poor girl is so innocent that she has no idea how others view these type of things. And lord help us if Kimura is her teacher! He'd be all sorts of freaking out over Yoko. ^_^

Hahaha I love colored pencils, they are way better than markers or crayons. XD Yoko is the ideal student she is totally prepared for art class. That is how I was when I was in school, I was prepared and ready for each class. Yoko and I would get along great. :)
Pencils were always cooler to me than any other medium. Not sure why either but I do like them alot. And her preparedness comes from me. I always had a backpack FULL of stuff in school. I hated using my locker so I carried it all in my backpack. =3
Yeah you totally have to sharpen pre-sharpened colored pencils....LOL!!!! XD But this cute I like the little pencil sharpener, another great accessory!

Hahahahahaha! This must have been the desk at the very back of the class. If I'm reading this right someone can't add. XD And looking on down at *scholl* can't spell either...LOL! But this is really neat with the writing on it, like a real desk and makes this even cooler and more special of a find.
What's funny is that I didn't really notice it the first time I saw the desk. But when I sat Yoko down at it I was like HUH? Cool! =3

My storage locker is paid up for another 6 months. I think I will get them out before that time is up assuming I am going to stay where I am right now. Might have to sell my figures, though, as I'm now broke! :( BUT, my DD's will stay with me till I'm too old and grey to look after them! :D
Ahh... I sure hope you can! Have you checked on them at all to make sure nothing is happening to them while in storage? Or are they in a climate controlled place?
I know about being broke! The radiator in my car blew up yesterday so now I have no car until I can get that fixed. So there goes more money I dont have. T_T I may have to start selling stuff soon too. But my girls would be the LAST thing to go! =3
Me, too! :D The storage place is climate controlled. But, I check on them whenever I move, or put more stuff in there. So far, things seem okay. Although, the boxes have been sealed since the move out of Korea.
At least you have a car! O_o
