Nanoha fix!
Remember how I posted about my Nanoha Figma and how her hand came off? Well, I managed to fix that, and also her broken off twin tail v(^o^)/

She was like this when I unboxed her (T_T) I superglued the tail back on, but it didn´t hold together, so I started to look at some other solutions.

The peg was stuck in there, so I took out my Dremel-a-like and drilled out the hole. After trying out some different things to see if they fit (for example, different sizes of Gundam kit sprues), I tried one of the alternate hands. Whaddayaknow, like a glove O_O

So I had to make a tough call and sacrifice one of the hands. I decided to cut off the peg of the left version of the right one that had already snapped.

Drilled a not-too-deep hole for the peg to fit...

...glued the peg in place...

...and here´s the end result. I´m glad i was able to fix Nanoha, but I´m also happy that there are no more early Figma releases that I´m interested in owning. Quality control at MF/GSC can be a little spotty, I guess. Anyway, I hope that some of you will find my fix helpful in repairing some of your figures. Thanks for watching!

This is genius *o* but it's a shame that it broke in the 1st place :(
Not a bad idea in fixing your nanoha figma ^~^b... but sadly u have sacrifice one of the hands...
Indeed a clever solution, sorry for the Nanoha which was very bad injured but at least now she looks as nothing happened, I hope that Max F do re-releases of the old figures but with today's quality which is much more superior than past one... for example, I was unable to obtain the new release of Saber armor ver. but I don't know if they used new production techniques on it, at least for example a normal peg and not ball peg for the hands... but if they did then "way to go" MF, 'cause that's what you have to do now, quality has to be the first thing in your production plans.
That's actually pretty clever. I too have had a Figma break, though it was Fate rather than Nanoha. Not only did one of her hands snap off inside the wrist like your case, but then her shoulder joint popped loose. Nothing actually looks broken, but for the life of me I can't get her left arm back on. It's like the socket got bent out of shape or something.
