You go to the mall to buy some stuff. You meet a friend there and time flies fast. Its dark before you know it.
You come back to your dorm. You climb the stairs.
Then you hear behind you...
do do....(sound of heavy footsteps)
do do....
doki doki....(sound of your heart beating)
They seem to come closer.
do do....
do do....
dokun dokun...(sound of harder heartbeat)
The footsteps stop just behind you. Then you get a tap on your shoulder.

.........
.........
You turn back..... to see nothing.
What do you say? What do you do?

Btw, that picture really reminds me of the to aru majutsu no index scene, toma's flat/house thingy.
i would do the following - pick up anything ( bottle or a strong stick) and go on my merry way, with caution. i dont like walking alone at night, its why im grateful that i drive. im a big guy and i could fend for myself but when confronted in a scenario like this, a bit of fear creeps in no matter who you are. heck in my home, i would hear a bit of creaking here and would feel a chill even when its not suppose to be a cold day

I'm quite afraid of walking alone out at night so will usually run or get back before the sun sets...

What would I do? I would say ''LETS KICK ASS AND CHEW BUBBLEGUM AND I AM ALL OUT OF GUM!'' Okay. Maybe not. Infact i would just shout AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! or F*CK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and run like shit.

Start whistling showtunes loudly to try to calm myself down and probably grab the closest blunt object, just in case.

The tap on the shoulder would scare the crap out of me and I would either run like hell or make a jump forward and turn to face whatever tapped my shoulder. I am kind of a bigger guy,so, I can probably hold my own but I would still be scared out of my mind.

I would scream like the girl I am and run as fast as I can until I no longer feel threatened. Which would be quite the distance.
I would just scream and then run back to the dorm and sit in a corner with a banana! lol i worry myself ^^
I'm quite honestly shocked. I don't know what just happened, so I sigh and say,"I guess it was nothing." Suddenly I hear a voice,"How did you know?" After hearing the unknown voice, I begin to panicly turn to see where the noise was coming from. Eventually though, it eventually tells me to turn to the left...wait, it's left. I'm even more startled then originally and I yell out,"WHAT ARE YOU!" It...she...calmly replies, "I'm nothing. I'm pretty sure you've seen me before."-"I saw nothing."-"Yeah, you're looking at me right now." We begin to continue in what was quite honestly one of the strangest conversations ever. It goes for hours on hours and get's so increbably abstract. Eventually though she leaves, but she tells me one of the oddest things. She told me she would be back with our child. When she mentioned that, I didn't know what to say. I've done nothing for years, but...wait...what.
