LOL the bear just happens to be a good support of the figure. the thin stick that comes with the figure doesnt seem to be able to give enough support to saber after all.
Ah, that's a shame to hear. Did they do the stupid thing and make it out of plastic instead of metal?
it is actually metal but i doubt a single stick would be sufficient to hold saber. Probably it would bend a few years later:((( therefore the bear is introduced lol. it's of the right height and it's transparent, which makes it a good choice.
Okay. So mostly then you're worried that the rod goes far enough into her leg, which is quite possible. (If I were sculpting something like that the rod would go all the way through the leg into the spine, but I suppose casting something like that would be a royal pain in mass manufacturing.)
sadly that's true:( but even with the concerns about the rod, this excalibur version of saber is just awesome >3<
I hope it at least goes into her ankle, that would be a potential weak spot. Still, I do agree the sculpting job is gorgeous. I wish I had had the funds to get her when she was up for pre-order.
