Back in Japan again!
Well, after another long plane ride I am finally back home in Japan. LOL. I can't really complain because I had the entire row of seats to myself this time and got to lay down and rest(not sleep) a lot of the trip. I must be a veteran of Japan now because I went through customs in a flash, got my Suica card, my Skyliner ticket, got my money changed and a C.C. Lemon soda super fast. The trip from Narita is nicely scenic got from fields and rivers to running through the middle of town. Exiting the Keisei Ueno station is when it really hit me I was back and I just wanted to start walking around but decided to go to the hotel first and I checked into the Chisun Inn in Asakusa. On the way I had a funny encounter with two older gentlemen on the Ginza Line train when they spotted my Yomiuri Giants cap and the eldest man had one on too. We laughed and gave a thumbs up for the giants. LOL.
Took a shower in the hotel and checked my email stuff before falling asleep for a few hours and woke up after midnight. Decided to walk around and try my hand at some night photography so I think it came out OK but I'll let you guys decide. Got to see Sensoji at night and its so weird when there is nobody around and the shops are closed. Saw some lovely art on the shutters and took a few pics too. Its 4am right now and I'm going to nap some more and hit Sensoji during the morning and then off to Akiba. Later comrades.

So beautiful! Makes me hungry but I'm lucky enough to have some Golden Curry from Japan, so when I get Japan blues, I cook myself some nice curry...
Not quite the same as Coco Curry but it will do in a pinch. I so wish they had this flavor of cup ramen back home.
I totally agree with you!! Love the Café au Lait flavor! Last year I tried the Half/Half and it was great too! Rainbow Mountain is still my fav thought... XD
Found a machine around the corner that has the Rainbow so you know I've hit it already. LOL

Thanks, trying to give folks a feel for the day. Its a Yomiuri Giants cap with a capital Y an G. Sounds like the cap your talking about is a Hanshin Tigers one. Got one two years aga in Osaka.

Oh nice!...you left earlier than usual this year. At least you beat the holiday traffic ^_^ How long are you there for? I just booked my Japan and China trip this past weekend and can't wait to finally be there. Have a fun trip!

I took both of these pics at around 2am the first day I arrived in Tokyo. These temples are so surreal at night and the whole time I kept thinking of the Gantz anime while freezing my hands off. Worth it in the end though.
