So after 2 long years the wait for this mother of all toys is over!!
He will be going up for sale on March 2nd @ 9am HK time (March 1st @ 8pm EST).
Price: $490 shipping included (insert your spit take here)
He'll be on sale for just 24hrs at the Bambaland store after which he'll be removed from the store permanently.
I know the price is quite the shock for most but this guy is must have for me. I'm going to love having this guy towering over my nendos and figma's.
Not only does his front light up, the cockpit when opened lights up as well. The rail gun can detach and also has a special light effect when it fires.
Special REX edition Vox just dropped with these beautiful new images.
Just under 20 hours left till preorders start, so excited!
Wow...he(?) looks really solid...impresses me a lot, seems to be worth the money... ^^
All things considered, I think the price-tag makes sense. I somehow ended up trying to temp my brother who gets military officer pay to buy it, but he's got a girlfriend who's unemployed now, so that was my last hope of ever seeing this beast in person. The final product looks so amazing.
Aww, well that bones though I can understand someone double guessing this purchase. I've up from my last couple of paychecks to get this puppy.
Really want to adopt Rex home , but with that insane price tag TT____TT i give up ~

I've paid quite a bit of money for figures and I'm a pretty big MGS fan, but I don't think I could justify that price. Looks pretty neat, though.
this is deffo one for the 'hardcore' collectors, own a couple of ThreeA figures but this is way outta my price league. I remember seeing a pre-production video clip of the apparent light system used in the rail gun - think it actually pulses, building up to a brighter burst to simulate a launch, sure the cockpit is illuminated too. I think due to the sheer size, detail and craftsmanship of this warrants an exclusive price tag...certainly wouldn't complain if I was to own one but alas I'll just stare at the photos and wait for those lucky individuals to (hopefully) post some cool photos of it.
Yeah, at first I didn't think I'd be able to get the cash together in time but luckily after budgeting here and there. I was able to get my funds together. I'll definitely post pics when this big guy arrives.
Now to wait for MGS RAY....

Man, I would really love to have this too, but the same with the others, money is the problem ^^; the size is very enormous. It'll make a great display at our room for sure.
Yeah, hopefully MG RAY will be made too XD (and then it'll make it harder to have both of them XD)
We'll the great news (bad news for the bank account)is that MGS Ray is also being made by ThreeA. Development for him started at the same time as REX, so expect to see some prototype pics of him in the upcoming months.
Needless to say it's a great time to be a MGS fan. =)

Afraid so, he'll be up for preorder in less than 2 hours. And after the 24 hrs or if all allotments are sold he'll be gone for good.
