At the festival!

Mikila, Cryx's Sasara, Cryx, and I went to the local Matsuri in our town!
It was really fun and we managed to snag some cool loot but still avoid bootlegs. ^^
Cryx and the girls energetically start off into the festival!
Snagged a pikachu mask! Can't go to a festival without masks!
Oh and snagged a fan! Hot day! ;;
We cool off and head to the doll meetup!

It was pretty hot...weather said 80 degrees but that's even hotter in the sun. I managed to snag that fan though so we managed to stay cooler. They also had shaved ice. :3

My brother managed to see these guys up close at last year's Phoenix comicon when he somehow snagged a first row seat 2/3 of the way into their performance.
Aw man, looks like this year's Matsuri was a blast! I wanted to come but just couldn't swing it with other things going on today. Still, I can has car now, so hopefully there'll be another meetup in March I can make!

What is your dual degree again? I'm a computer science major but also taking lots of fun classes on the side. Hopefully Japanese next semester. ^^
My dual degree is Computer Science & Engineering and Music Performance - Orchestral Instrument (French Horn). Despite all of the work they require, they are two things that I really enjoy!
As much as I would love to, taking fun classes is hard to come by when you're fitting music classes and computer science classes into a reasonable schedule. Still, I think there's a few Japanese-related classes that could fulfill my general education requirements. We shall see.
You're studying computer science as well? Awesome! How is that going for you?
