MG Hi-Nu
Oy Vey! A non-Exia gunpla this time! Here's my MG Hi-Nu Gundam with a custom black paint scheme. I built this kit about a year ago, but kind of forgot about painting and detailing it after getting caught in the hooplah and excitement of building other gunpla. I know a lot of people b!tch about the MG version and how it's faithful to the original concept artists vision but the hell with all that. I love the internal frame and the general silhouette of this mobile suit.
I used the usual Tamiya spray canss. with metallic black, gunmetal, gunship grey,and insignia white as well as gundam markers for the thrusters. I was planning on actually making it resemble the Nu Gundams original scheme but somehow adding yellow to the thing ticked me off. A little bit of trouble with the chin part. some of the pain had rubbed off while i was posing. Will fix it again.
Gonna have to build myself a decent lightbox one of these days. Excuse the crappy photos.

now I want a high-nu too, btw does anyone know which series hi-nu came from cuz I might wanna watch it.
it's a mobile suit variation of the Nu Gundam which appeared in the movie Char's CounterAttack. The Hi-Nu is an upgraded version of the Nu which was still in the prototype stages (as with all Gundams in the metaverse)
