The sound of the rattling bamboo leaves shaking with the wind really helps calm the inner me.

If you add that with studying, I'm sure there will be an impact!

Do you study in a noisy environment?

The stem of the bamboo seems to be rotting though.

    I like to listen to music when I study, BUT there has to be no words in it. For mathematics I listen to classical, nothing prancing though, like something serious. For creativity I use electronica or chill, to club depending on the subject.
    And for relaxing, or reflection it is the ambient sounds of nature like this or a babbling stream, birds....you know. ^^

      Over here, i listen to my Ragnarok Online Sound Tracks. It really does help to listen to vocal less songs during study!

    I used to listen to music while doing my hw and studying highschool, but as soon as I got in to the University, that all stopped ^^; There's no way I can focus on my work and music at the same time!

    My job requires me to stare at monitor 8-10 hours daily, and I still stare at them even after I got home from job to catch anime or d/l maintenance... ^^;

    When I was in university I'd put on star wars movies while I studied, they became like white noise. Since I knew everything that was going to happen, I never felt like I had to watch, but If I wanted to take a 5 min break, I had something to cool watch. I also used those movies as timers so i knew how long I've been doing whatever I was doing.
