SD Gundam NT1 "Alex"

This is a quick little SD kit that I finished recently. I wanted to test out a paint technique with a marble effect. It starts with a black base, then metallic paint dry brushed and applied, then white marks to create marble crack effects; then finally painted with a clear purple. Fun little kit.
is it supposed to be blue?
Sorta. The pictures are a bit on the dark side, but it's actually purple on the supposed "blue" areas.

Next one is set for Thanksgiving weekend. The December gathering is always fun as we do a gift exchange thingy that is entertaining.
They looks like scratch marks instead of crack... But I still love it!!!

Did you write "ALEX" in yourself? .... War in the pocket was damn good, especially when it didn't involve colony-destorying killer moves.
My friend thought that too, but no it's a decal I used.
