Mirai Inc UI Designer Entry
o.O It's still Tuesday in Japan right?!
Phew, well, this is the best I could do in such short time... especially since I spent a bunch of time making 3d Mirais that I ended up not using in the final mockups... (They just didn't work on a white background, and black/orange is way to halloween-y ^^; Plus she just doesn't look "right"... but I'll post them anyhow, just because). I can't believe I actually thought I'd have time to slice these and make them into actual webpages... Too ambitious sometimes I am...
So here it is! The "new" page:

This is the "casual viewer" page...

And this is the "every day viewer" page... As for the requirements...
I think I meet them, for the most part at least:
Has experience using Photoshop or Fireworks for website mockups.
Check. I use Photoshop.
Has experience with Flash.
Kinda Check. I've played with Flash a bit, but I don't normally use it... Having a reason to do so would greatly increase the speed at which I learned how to do more with it!
Is able to work remotely via mail, phone, or Skype.
Check. Don't have a Skype account yet, because nobody I know long-distance-wise has one o.O but I could definitely set one up.
Has a Paypal account which I would pay you through.
Check.
Would like to work with top name Japanese brands in the anime, figure and merchandising business.
Check! Check! Check!
Can work with Japanese fonts (not not necessarily able to read it)
Check. I have Japanese fonts installed on my computer, despite the fact that my kanji reading skills are pretty much abysmal at this point.
Is able to work with little direction.
Check. In fact sometimes I prefer it... Some folks I've done work for have made me wonder, why hire a web designer if you've already designed everything? ^^;
* Is familiar with terms such as Breadcrumbs, Landing Pages, Conversion, Above the Fold.
Check.
* Does not matter whether you work on Mac or Windows.
Phew. Because I'd be clueless if I suddenly had to use a Mac ^^;

A render I did of Mirai-chan... Normally I would've done more postwork to make it look all pretty (and fix that white space in the corner ^^;) but I'm too tired! I'm going to bed! (might bug me enough that I fix it tomorrow though).

Another render of Mirai... I know, her skirt is going through her legs... but I need sleep!
So I'm going to bed now.

Thanks for the hard work on these mocks and Mirai-chan looks great!
Thanks ^^
I still think there is something "not right" about her face though... not that it doesn't look like a face, more like it doesn't look like Mirai-chan.. o.O
nice view o^o
ouuuu love this!
OMG. This is very awesome! 3d Mirai looks pretty too! :3
3D Mirai looks really good especially with the tight School Girl shirt .
Your 3d render of Mirai looks wonderful... she has a very childlike face in them, it's cute!!
