Weeeeee~ Don't know if anyone heard of this already.
With the opening of the English Site, AmiAmi now provides International Shipment for overseas customers!!
Pleas read their FAQ(English) carefully before making any order, because they have some restrictions, for example you can't cancel your order once you placed them.
Really excited with this, since now I have more option for ordering stuffs, Not to mention it's AmiAmi with their Discount price plus Limited/Exclusive goods they have on sale ^^

Awesome new indeed and the fact that they accept Paypal is the best part for me (curse Hobby Search for no Paypal =.=).
Actually Hobby Search is going to re-open their Paypal service in November ^^

Those prices are awesome! Kagamine Rin figure by GSC for 2,887 yen, Unity Mei for 3,980 yen, World is Mine for 6720 yen... I wish they shipped via SAL, then I would burst with joy.
Yup, their prices are awesome, with nearly all are 18% off retail price. If you use to order stuffs from HLJ like me, order from AmiAmi could technically consider order with Free Shipping hehehe

No catch at all. They use standard EMS prices. Bout $24-$35 for your average 1/8 - 1/6 scale Figure

Their stock prices are certainly very good, but the shipping estimates on their FAQ seem slightly high even for EMS. I've emailed them about the shipping cost for something I'm interested in, so I'll wait to hear back about that before I get too excited.

Same here. $25-$35 on shipping for one figure is a joke. But at least they offer some limited/exclusive items.
The reason some stores don't offer SAL is because SAL is not tracked/insured. If something happens to the package it'll take a long time to deal with it...even if the post office can track it down.
I know that packages seldomly get lost/stolen/damaged, but you'll appreciate the insurance when it does.
Same here too SAL it's a most I don't mind wait few more day to save some money, that is more figures at large

Wow! Look at all the Touhou figures non-Japanese residents will have access to now (without paying insane prices on ebay that is). See they have that new Saber figma too.
I'll be shopping in Japan for the most part personally, but when I leave, AmiAmi is going to allow me to continue collecting exclusives and Touhou figures. Thanks for the heads up.
