Long before the dark and heroic Batman known to 21st century audiences, there was another type of Batman. A much more "square" Batman. Throughout the 1960's Adam West captured the hearts of many Batman lovers through his campy style, witty puns, and stone cold delivery.
Being a Retro Geek , I was quite fascinated in classic shows in the 60's ,70's and 80's . To me , It wasn't always about Great Graphics , High Quality Props or Awesome Suits . Its about the actors and the people who are working in the show that put great effort on making an Epic Show .
Being a Batfan , I really liked Batman for his Detective stories and his Great Legacy . He was one of my Superhero Icons when I was a kid . He is THE REAL SUPERHERO to Me . He is the guy who saves the world without any SuperPowers needed . His the one that showed us that " Brain beats Brawn "

I'm currently watching "Batman : The Brave and The Bold " which shows The Classic Batman to the New Generation of BatLovers on CN . This is The only Cartoon that I really looked up for ^_^.

Both the Batusi (the dance where you pass your hands across your face in the 'v' sign) and the shark repellant were mentioned in the latest ep of the "Brave and the Bold" cartoon which guest starred Neil Patrick Harris as the Music Meister, and is almost completely a musical. Highly recommended watch ^^

Haha, thanks for the retro trip, and yes, you've got to love the 1960's campy Batman... back in the days when a "6-pack" was something you found in the fridge.
And under the hood of a car. The 440 6 pack. The 1960s Bat Car with the turbine engine sounds like the KITT 2000. Or is it the other way around? ^^
...sometimes I wonder if there isn't just a generic "futuristic car" noise that everyone in show-biz uses and just haven't bothered to change ^^;

60's Batman movie was either unintentionally or intentionally funny... My favourite scene from the movie was Batman trying to get rid of a bomb but he keeps running into innocent bystanders XD "Some days you can't get rid of a bomb"
