my first attempt to draw konata

Nice first attempt! It does need some work, but just keep at it. With some more practice, you will get much better ^^.

The joys of freehand.

You might want to actually try drawing outline shapes very slightly( i can see another person with heavy hands/scratching the paper/smudging[Ah the old times with mechanical pencil] :p)and use reference lines to work your way up. Practice. And try doing full bodies whenever possible. Very important, finish whatever you are going to sketch.

That said, not too shabby with freehand though. Perspective/proportions need work :3c.
