MG Kampfer ver DC23
The title of my dio is " coup d 'etat and this dio was also my entry in BAKUC finals last year ( 2008 ) and I lucky won as the BAKUC Grand Champion 2008.I started painting Gunpla January 2008 and started simple mods June of 2008, so this win was very special indeed. happy. Great competition with lots of great kits from modellers from around the globe. This was my second modified kit and was inspired by Toymaker's gray Kampfer and was spray painted with industrial spraycans and Tamiya spraycans. Hope you like it.
Modifications:
- added a large fin over the head
- scratch built a backpack to accomodate the extra kotobukiya parts
- added lots of pla plates for added detail and to give the kit an armor layered effect
- added lots of metal ringlets for added detail
- added a saber-type elbow on the right arm
- designed a color scheme in Adobe Photoshop
- scratch built the dio from old cd cases and pla materials ( rods, beams and plates )
- battle damaged an old OOB painted kit ( MG Zeong )
I wish Bandai creates more MGs from Gundam Wing Custom.

anyway, is it me, or you bought those armored core weapon part without thinking (was collecting it and only recognize they didn't match to any XD) and use them for extra parts XD
there's plenty of armored core weapon part that sold seperately from all your recent work LOL
dom : pile bunker, grenade launcher
this : flame thrower (the rifle is flame thrower), those backpack, are arm machine gun
Hehe, lazy to SB custom weapons, so I bought a few for my gunpla collection.:)

hehehe....thanks a ton man...I would love to do another Kampfer soon...but hopefully Bandai releases a Kampfer V2...this old one has bad joints in the legs and lots of seams. ;)
+1 on a V2 kampfer. I didnt really like the articulation on the current kampfer.
