This is my entry for Bandai's World Gundam Competition "Coolest free-style Gunpla" I thought i might as well try, no harm in that XD I reside in California and just recently got back into making Gunpla after a 8yr+ hiatus. Before i only made out of box builds but with my current kits i have been focusing on a battle damage theme. In the last 3 months i have built 2 kits, which are MG Exia Ignition Mode and MG Wing Zero Custom Endless Waltz Ver.

Still in the learning process and did a lot of experimenting here. sorry for the bad lighting in the pics XD

Didnt apply any coatings, still new to that department ^^;

> Img ID#26104 | New tab | Mouseover = load notes.

Did a little panel lining on the chest and around the waist. added some bullet holes. Tried to do a arm got exploded effect? XD

> Img ID#26106 | New tab | Mouseover = load notes.
> Img ID#26107 | New tab | Mouseover = load notes.

Added scrapes to the wings and lines on the "feathers"

> Img ID#26108 | New tab | Mouseover = load notes.

something bad happened here...

Hikimori Mode!

      i still have much to learn ^^ i have limited supplies so must experiment with only what i have on hand. want to try flat coating next, think the texture will help with realism.

      lol nope! i started building Gunpla back when Gundam Wing was airing on TV. after that i didnt keep up with anything Gundam related. the release of MG Exia ignition was what got me back in, i bought that and started watching Gundam OO, which is the 2nd Gundam series ive watched XD

    absolutely amazing job. I made my account just to ask you about this kit. I"m planning on getting it this winter, and your work has inspired me to try some battle-damage of my own. I'm really curious how you detailed the legs and wings, and made the small nicks in the armor. thanks form your help, and great jog.

      thanks! im glad your looking into battle damage, need more fellow Gunpla builders to jump into that! i work with very limited tools *i dont have much ^^;* but those damages where done using a metal file, hobby knife, and stick of burning incense(the key ingredient lol). then touched up with gundam markers and experimented with charcoal pencil also. do drop by my blog and check out the WIP's hopefully you will get a bit more info there ^^ good luck to you once you get your kit!
