Glasses - めがね

Posted by Tasche [www]

So... im currently in a pickle... New season is coming, that means new look... First thing ide find that needs to go is the Glasses...

Picking new glasses is pretty hard for me, im very stingy. I tend to favor more rectangular frames as it matches my head profile aswell, but the one thing that has been bugging me is this particular type of frame called "Underframe/Undermount Glasses". It really is what is sounds like...where the frame is mounted on the bottom instead of on the usual top. You've probably seen them around town and or in animes pretty often, and are quite unique.

Right now, im pretty set on finding some nice set of these glasses...
Have you ever considered finding a set of these glasses or own one?

PS: Seitokai no Ichizon is one of the best shows this year...lu lu lu?

I used to have glasses...my vision isn't the best.
Used them occasionally to read the whiteboard for taking notes at school
However...my nieces found their way into my room and messed with them
Now completely broken...and needs to be replaced
    I miss my glasses >_<

I'm a proud owner of X-trend frame glasses...
Been wearing them since the second year I go for diploma.
Now still here with me though I don't bring it out for sports,
I use another glasses that I own, though its broken last semester due to a motorcycle accident.

neat, im pretty style/fashion concious, i like to change my style ever season if possible. usually theyre shirts and shoes, not so much for glasses as grabbing the prescription for them all is just a pain and very expensive. I usually dont do sports with glasses either, always had a fear that shards of glass would like be sticking outa my eyes...XD, but being farsighted...thats good right?...haha

I have the worst eyesight around my group of acquaintances so picking glasses has always been a pain. For a long time I've wanted to get some nice ones with a red frame, but the only ones they have are for children -_-U Size is a big issue too, I have a huge head so small glasses don't fit me. There's also the price, glasses are very expesnive especially if you add the prescription and everything...

I've been looking at those lower-frame ones and they look quite good but it's all a matter of going and trying them. I think I'd like a pair as long as they're big and rectangular, but yeah I'm not swimming in wealth right now ^^U

I really need some new glasses (I can only see crystal-clearly for about a foot or so ^^; ) The ones I have now I only really use for watching TV or playing videogames and such, but I've had them for years so I've grown out of them a little. I don't think they suit me now...
    God knows that when I get around to actually trying to pick out a new pair, I won't be able to decide ^^;

I have glasses and use them seeing how I have the near sighted curse. However, I plan on using contacts one of these days ^^. I will probably also have a pair of glasses in case I don't have the time to put in contacts.

I think I tried a pair like that on back in January when picking out my current pair. I've got such a small face though that having the frame underneath just makes it look like I've got dark circles under my eyes. ¬.¬ They look good on other people but terrible on me! My current set has the frame on top and rimless on the bottom, and for some reason have rhinestones in the temples. Lucky thing they're relatively discreet.

If you get a pair with no rim, whether rimless top or rimless bottom, be sure to ask the eye place for their little ribbon thing. It's used to get the lens back in place on the rimless frames, since on those the lens is held in place by a tight, clear plastic cable. It's impossible to get the lens back in without it, and it's sometimes easy to accidently pop the lens loose when cleaning your glasses.

I'm quite a lazy one in glasses instead of having a strange pair of eyes XD
Sometimes I need help in farsight, sometimes don't. That went the same with the close sight.
Well, maybe I just strain myself too much, anyway XD
But the trouble is, my right eye can't stand the bright lights, while the left can do fine.
Each works differently in the daylight and the night.
