Aoi Sakuraba from New Line

Posted by verygreen [www]

I cannot believe it, but somehow I was unable to find any reviews or even any pictures of this late 2003 figure.
This figure is absolutely gorgeous and made with a lot of attention to details.
The one we recently adopted seems to be another victim to ongoing crisis. Still it is mostly in a good shape and we do not regret getting it. Seems to be the best Aoi-chan figure out there (even though the face is not 100% exact to the Anime).

Aoi-chan is sitting on the tatami undressing the kimono and I guess waits for her beloved Kaoru-sama.

my attempt to fill review void in my burogu.
Just gallery with all the pictures

Notice the details: Kimono with an obi, obiage and obijime. Nagajuban and white pantsu underneath.
I am surprised they did not implement hadajuban too.

The bodily forms are also in place.

And great detail to oppai too. This is kind of surprising given that you actually need to make extra effort to see them.

View on the pantsu, err, I mean tatami base, of course.

This is a refreshing sight~ I din see much Aoi Figures in the past years~

That's great you got her~ :) Her hair's a bit too light though but that still looks pretty nonetheless~

Aoi's one of my fave characters of all time~ xD

    Love her "eyeshots" too ~

      Thanks!
Indeed there seems to be not many.
And it almost looks like nobody has this one for some strange reason. Only stock photos everywhere.

Yes, mirror is pretty interesting indeed.
I only wish the base was somewhat bigger, it's too tightly packed otherwise in some shots.

I wasn't expecting the pupils there... especially for a non-cast off figure.

Actually this figure is cold-cast resin. (forgot to mention it)
But certainly I did not expected that as well.
