Toradora GK on auction

I think this is the exact same painted Taiga danny posted yesterday. It is done by man_at_eastend (not sure if the person also paint for GSC). You can find more in this blog: http://homepage2.nifty.com/PaperMoon/

This is the link to the auction if anyone is interested in bidding though it's price will probably to go over 150k yen considering the previous ones (except the last one) ended mostly over 100k yen and it's already 76k on the first day.

This one has been painted. There are many makers who paint one then put it on auction so you can still get a nice painted GK even though you can't paint. Still good ones usually cost pretty high :(.

God Dammit! 80k.. thats ridiculous.. for a 1/8th or 1/6th scale kit.. I don't care how neat Taiga is.. and Yes I want this kit.. but I ain't paying that price.. Thats worse the 45k for a Mou-chan from Ikkitousen.

most likely a lot cheaper, but if you insist on the original- then 80K
i would get her if i had an AB and skills to match lol

The original kit (not painted) is probably around 8k - 15k on YH auction but this one has been painted so it's quite normal that the bid is very high (especially if its painted very well).

Still you can get a painted re-cast from e2046 in which the price is a lot lower though the quality might not be as good.

thats why you paint it yourself or "commission" a friend LOL
this taiga actually looks good, unlike some of the other weird* looking ones

-are you thinking about getting her?

Yeah, having a friend who can paint or having the skill the paint yourself is the best :). I'm quite lucky to have a friend who can paint really well (you can see his work from my other post).

A: I would love to get a hand on one of man_at_eastend work (been following it for a while) but the price war is going way beyond my limit and also exceeds my view of value for money. In terms of value for money, its a lot better off to have a friend paint for you or to get one from e2046.

Still it is quite unbelievable to see people going as far as to bid that high (now 150k with 3 days left). It would be interesting though to see if anyone else other than the usual bidders are going to participate in this bid.
