ACG's Otaku Meet
ACG held an Otaku Meet on Sunday in downtown Toronto. I attended the event. A lot of otaku did go to the event and it was fun to meet them all.
The ACG's Otaku Meet was created less than a year ago and it's goal is to bring otaku's together. Somewhat of what similar to what Danny does with his networking parties. These meets started off small but it has been growing. This meet was ACG's third meet and it had grown to 36 guests. I hope it'll continue to grow at future meets. At these meets, we have otakus set down and enjoy themselves and we talk about anything otaku (anime, manga, games, etc) . This otaku meet we had a gaming tournaments where people can win prizes as well.

Took place at Woo's Buffet at downtown Toronto
Around 5PM, a lot of people came at once to the event!!!
The food was good and I had Yuki join me for dinner...
Every seat was filled!!!
Games were being played on the TV...
ACG had a Blazblue tournament with joysticks.
We had 2 Xbox 360s, one for free play and one used for the tournament.
People brought their own figures too!!!

Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves!!!
ACG holds raffles near the end of the meet. The prize is this box of smoke cheese...Churaya-san...
ACG also held a small Gothic Lolita contest...that is when Domo attacks...

The event ends but it was really fun!!!
Hope to see the people who came to the event again at future events!!!

Interesting, is Toronto ACG's homebase? It's a tad too far for me to go just for a short meet.

I had a midterm on Monday...so it was out of the question >_< Well, I hope to go to the next one though ^_^
