Nekomimi Tuesday (Figure Edition) - Nov. 3, 2009
Konyanyashiwa! We have another Tuesday today, but instead of the usual 2D pic collection, I thought I'd do something different and post my Pink uniform version of Nekomimi Kanu Unchou =^.^=
Some sort of review and more pictures are on my blog... since some of them may be too risque here ^^;
So yeah, it gets very NSFW towards the end... just a fair warning to you :P
The reason I bought this figure is because of Kanu's cute face, the nekomimi and maybe the loose socks... that's it!
I got this during the Toylet sale they had over summer... 50% off is pretty dang good deal :D
A close up of Kanu's cute face and Chouhi, the small catgirl on her shoulder. Chouhi has become one of my favourite Ikki Tousen girls along with Ryomou and Kanu ever since I've played Ikki Tousen Eloquent Fist. I'm thinking of using a Gundam Pen to do a panel line on Chouhi's eyes... It looks kinda creepy without it.
Here's a close up of the other catgirl, Ryuubi. She looks a lot like Puchiko here...

The base that came with it is just awful... This base is from the nekomimi Louise. It looks much nicer, yes?

I think I overdid it with these kinds of pictures on my blog, lol. So go there if you wanna see more AldoraXKanu XD

I graduated from Nekomimi about 9 years ago, but I have to say this Kanu does look nice. Nice play Aldora!
Yah there are so many Kanu figures out there that I have to be choosy... There is one other of Kanu I want to get, but it's a GK and probably really expensive >_<
It's always fun when Aldora come out and play ^_^ I wonder if they'll make a dollfie out of her...
I was into Kanu for a while, you can probably find a few in my collection. However, there are just too many of them and I am not that much into her, so I dropped her soon after and focus on my core girls.

I was into Ikki Tousen for a limited period of time, but overall, they don't fit into my premier bishoujo space so the whole series of characters got dropped from my wanted list radar.
Strangely I haven't watched the latest anime incarnation of Ikki Tousen yet. Been meaning to, but I've been caught up with the manga because it's released very staggeredly.
Hmmm... Kanu DOES look rather cute in that incarnation...
never really understood where the concept for this one came from? just the inevitable combination of babe + nekomimi or was there some nekomimi joke/reference in the show/manga? ^^;;

Yea, I don't remember any art of Kanu in nekomimi before, not even by the original artist nor any fan artist. I think you hit it right on the spot with your first idea ^^

Heheh that's a good idea... unfortunately Chouhi isn't removable from Kanu's shoulder >.< I suppose I could find a puchi nendo to play with Aldora's thingy :P
